I don’t pay a lot of attention, but CTO, COO, VP, , ets changes always seem pretty frequent to me . Which has alway re-invigorated me belief their position are ornamental more than anything else .
Just my experience, but always seems like 15-20% of people are usually the core who’ve been there for ever and keep everything working in spite of the glory hounding”upper management” shifts.

For sure your situation could be different. I’ve just never cared who was “in charge” because it’s made barely any practical differences for myself in the places I’ve worked .

I don’t thinks it’s that the skill needed has necessarily gotten higher to simply enjoy casual play . I think it’s that , for me , what I’ve found with BF typically is the classes and loadouts allow you to find something that fits your skills .

But I do think it’s missed the mark a little this time, and the criticism about slide/jump is valid .

Personally I pick a weird loadout that I find fun and try to not suck with it . For me it’s a lot of engineer with LMGs, lol. Stupid build out but I have a good time with it . Now and then get some good multi kills from vehicle take downs or finding that choke point where you can mow people with the LMG.
Just my thoughts, I’m older and when even Unreal/Quake came out I already was a dad …. So I’ve had to find a way to enjoy sucking at most games . Lol

That insurance isn’t all that great if I recall correctly, there was a banking “crisis” in RI ,( at least), back in late 90s? People lost money they thought was insured. Sometimes through ignorance of the insurance limits, sometime just because the bank fucked up .

I’m separating the issues , the funds are insufficient because business are greedy , to your point they have enough money IF companies were not jacking up prices so a subset of people could be wealthy.
The SS money isn’t mishandled , it just can’t keep up with the cost of greed .

Not sure you can blame the government mishandling of funds in this case . All it is secure income . The issue is the cost of things , inflation out pacing it because of … well the large companies and greed.

I’m not arguing that this overall is not an issue . I’m arguing that if you say I want coffee, that adding “normal” in no way elevates its to latte .
Because 1- You never say I want a latte coffee, you say latte 2- latte and coffee are two different drinks… by definition . 3 - their menu has a section labeled coffee with coffee listed under it 4- someone competent with a title, ( which implies a level of skill associated with a menu of all of 30 items), would ask for clarification and not jump from the most basic coffee drink there is (coffee) to a different beverage because an adjective,(normal- that implies the most basic or average - not fancy), was added . If anything saying “normal” implies the most basic version you have .

So if I am at Starbucks and I want coffee what do I ask for?

I just googled the Starbucks menu and it literally showed coffee at the bottom .

My only point is that a coffee, literally by definition, is not a latte.
And when talking to an “expert” on the topic of coffee ,lattes, espresso , etc … it’s the most basic idea that they should know.

You’re saying “it’s subjective “ when it literally isn’t. They are two distinctly different drinks .
My assumption is most people don’t get coffee at Starbucks so the barista doesn’t know it’s different.

Doesn’t make her right , makes her need to back to barista university.

But they aren’t . Coffee if coffee , latte is latte . Adding “normal” or “regular” to it doesn’t change a coffee into a latte.

They literally are different things made different ways . The ingredients are similar is all.
It’s like saying I’d like a regular cupcake and someone giving you a birthday sheet cake .
Similar ingredients, totally different thing put together in a different way

I don’t expect the chef to send out lasagna . But what I would really expect in that situation is the wait staff asking “what do you mean by normal pasta?”

Like I would expect the barista to do if they don’t know what regular or normal coffee is .

Alternatively, the barista could know that coffee and latte are not even close to the same thing .

If your counter job has a title to it like “barista” , I assume you passed basic knowledge of your “craft”.
