They aren't cohesive. The Sifo-Dyas plotline is never resolved. Anakin making C-3PO breaks the continuity. Midiclorians suck.

They're full of stupid characters. Can't Padme immediately see that Anakin is a fascist lunatic?

There is a massive political agenda. Lucas has explicity said it's inspired by increased authoritarianism post 9-11 (this isn't a criticism of the movies, though).

And Anakin's entire fall to the dark side is rushed and unbelievable.

Actors should really trying being behind the camera sometime. Like yeah, it's great to be able to work in a free flowing manner like they did on Succession. But in most projects, you have to hit your fucking marks so the shots are properly framed and are in focus. You have to be able to keep the emotional reality of the character and the technical logistics of filmmaking in mind when acting.

Sadie Sink is easily the best young actor to come out of Stranger Things.
