I know what you mean. At one point I hated how it looked when I them displayed in one of those multi slot cases that hung on the wall. Now some folks from our hobby group introduced me to dioramas and now I buy them to populate it. I dont know when I'll ever be free from this hobby

Im collecting 64 scale to be part of the community but im too old to be looking at the details on em. Which is why Im stuck with the 18s. I also have a few 43s and since sold my 12s.

Yea Ive been doing that too. Where I am collectors are mostly into 64 scale. Theres only a few of us collecting 18s.

The plaque only says limited to 500 on the Castrol and limited to 150 on the test car

It does look like a decent model. MiniGT sure has some quality to its price. Depends also on what youre inclined to collect.
