your clavicles aren’t perpendicular to the sagittal plane so you can’t expect a 1:1 reduction. your shoulder structure is a triangle and they’re reducing the hypotenuse but your bideltoid measures with respect to the adjacent length

Thank you!! 🫶

I would say about 3-4 weeks to return to normal feeling. About 1 week to be able to use your arms for very light tasks. No loss of movement but your shoulders do roll forward a bit so it can reinforce a slouch if you’re prone to it

I can see why you guys say that but I just didn’t feel that way at all prior to surgery

Agree, in photos clavicle reduction is really subtle but it still made a big diff to my self perception

13k CAD shoulders (plus another 6k if you want to remove the hardware also), 11k CAD BA. recovery for shoulders was way harder and needed my mom to help me for a couple weeks.

Thank you!

I think the effect is permanent. You can get a scapula shave but I don’t think I will

right so you’re choosing the former. If you don’t believe you’ll achieve anything then it’s a self fulfilling prophecy

I’m glad you’re making progress and working on yourself.
Yes, we’ve been dealt a shit hand. I’m sure we’d all like to have everything covered but that just isn’t the reality of things. So you can either have the attitude that things are hopeless and you’ll never be able to progress, or realize that no one cares about you and that ultimately you alone are responsible for achieving your goals.

Go to school and get a job? What else is there to do?
I’m in Canada too and don’t consider him acceptable for me personally so I’m pursuing private options
