The current future county exec told the police they should not be pulling people over for any reason while in council session. Don't expect any enforcement at all for the foreseeable future.

You are spending an extra 7 hours a shift working by commuting that long. You cut your relative pay by that much just using your own vehicle, gas, and free time.

Since the new department is 79% of your current pay, you more than break even on your hourly by cutting the commute out. Unless you live at work and do huge amounts of OT and commute home, or if the benefits are significantly better in the current job, the pay cut isn't much of a pay cut.

7/(24+7) = 22.5%. You are taking a massive pay cut and working an extra 14 hours a week at your current department. If pay at the new department was 25% less it would be worth it.

Those townhomes shouldn't cost that much. It's just the "luxury furnishings" that drive up the price. They are pretty cheaply made.

Ive done a rescue from one of these. The seats are incredibly tough with a metal band under thick rubber and seriously do not expand. Anyone stuck in one is in for a miserable time while we shove tools in between the band and their skin.
