But isn’t that the point of technical Minecraft? When has impressive technology been developed the way Mojang wants it to be. The only real good example of that is the observer. Quasi connectivity is now used in almost every complex redstone contraption. Tnt duping is used to build crazy machines such as world waters and quarries. EOL farms have some of the most impressive stats out of any farm, even if they are a little boring. Update suppression is just as useful and almost as widely used as these other bugs. When Mojang tries to add their own intended features for technical Minecraft, we get things like the skulk sensor. Update suppression has been used by the community for years, and is now no longer a threat to casual servers due to the effort and server knowledge you need to perform it. If they remove CCE suppression, OOM suppression still exists, it is just much less convenient, and it’s likely that another method will be discovered that could be more dangerous to casual servers.

It worked when I did it on myself, I don't know why it would be different in your case

Try using this command:

But replace the uuid with the uuid of the mob. If you want to do this on an already summoned warden, use:
/data merge entity @e[type=warden,limit=1] {anger:{suspects:[{uuid:[I;-624167102,2008959490,-1159253227,1362998455],anger:9999}]}}

I restarted the server I was doing it on and now it works perfectly fine. I have no idea how this happened.

In Docm77's video (which I linked in the post above) he reveals a workaround for item shadowing that works for 1.18

Also notice that snowballs generate in the chests. This gives further evidence that the inhabitants of the city had a battle with the warden.
