My cat Max had a blood cancer and we did oral chemo for it. Because I had noticed that he wasn't feeling himself really fast we got about 8 months of good quality time with him, and usually cats only have a few weeks with that type of cancer even with the meds, dogs tend to respond better to them. I think that and baseline health of the pet probably accounts for the variability in numbers.

I really hope that you have a lot of good time with her. Please hold her still even if it makes you cry, because you will regret it later if you don't

Try not to cry too much or you will distress her because she will worry about you. Maybe you need a human feliway to help you so that you don't distress her.

The stupid thing with being human and intelligent is that we can premourn and it doesn’t make the pain any less when we lose them, just contaminates the time beforehand 😭

I looked back to your earliest snake post but I didn't see - is one snake the low temp of the day and the other the high temperature of the day, or are you just using a different colour key for each snake and they're representing the same temperature?

Ziplock bags are your friends. Even ones you are already working on - as long as it's not a ziplock with a slide to lock, they're easy to push closed around the working thread for transport (slide would probably work but force it to the side which feels wrong to me)

My mom blamed me in arguments later for missed opportunities because she had me - yelled at me that she could have become a trained nurse if she didn't have to stay home and look after me and I deadass looked at her and said "you never asked me about it, you can't blame me, and I would have said take the money"

For me, there's good weird and bad weird. Your bird there is good weird. The human nose on the cat makes it bad weird for me.
