Check, check, and check. Kinda proud of my sprinkler system I set up lol. Since you seem knowledgeable let me ask you: i believe I’m approaching the time to cut this new growth. I’ve got a push mower (gas powered), blade is sharp, can I cut it without destroying anything that might germinate with the second group of seeds I threw down to try to help out those bare patches?

So I ended up throwing down some leftover seed in the bare patches and lightly top dressing those areas. I think that storm washed out the spots that are bare. Fingers crossed I can get this to come in well here with the cold not that far off.

I’ll have to figure out how to mow it without destroying any results I get from this second round of seeding, so time will tell.

As for the shade it gets moderate sunlight and there is one branch im eyeing at taking down once this grass is established. Thanks!

And the parkway and turnpike in jersey are private roadways. They only let their tows come out there, so AAA will be useless there, correct

I’m not religious so I don’t know the terms. I was at a catholic funeral service. The priest used a classy looking thing that looked like a bell on a stick to sprinkle holy water on the deceased just prior to the casket being lowered. Then each person in attendance did the same with the same device taking turns. Person in front of me goes, slips from his hand, pinballs off a few things, goes underneath the casket and down the hole. The looks on everyone’s faces trying to hold back laughs was all time

The contacts drying out especially on nights can be super uncomfortable. If I get a chance I head back to the station and take them out for 10 minutes, put them in a case with solution and use some eye drops before I put them back in. I’ll brush my teeth and floss use some mouthwash.

After my shift I spray my vest with fabric deodorizer and leave it to air out outside of my locker.

In time, if and when it’s right, another dog will be great! When I got another GWP after I had my first, it felt strange, thinking he’d be the same. I was young, and naive. But in time I grew to realize they are in fact all their own people (or dogs I would suppose lol). And they have their own personalities. Long story short, your next dog will be his own man or lady, with his own personality.

I’m so beyond sorry for your loss. Dogs are the best and wire haired’s are best dogs. Be thankful on the amazing memories you have with him. In time it will get easier 💙

Our boy Otto at this stage wasn’t showing signs of a high prey drive. Give it time, try again in 2 months. I also would interpret the pointing at feathers a great sign. I know my boy just wanted everything to be a game at this age, and your girl might be similar (and happens to enjoy the game of feathers on a string). While I’m sure you are growing to love her personality the truth is that a few months from now she’ll be a whole different dog with how fast they grow! Beautiful pup. Don’t worry, that dog’ll hunt!
