The more you learn about this series the more it feels like Kishimoto had a few solid plotlines in his head and let the rest come to him as he released the chapters. This is the same way I felt about Sasuke not knowing about Madara and Naruto's class knowing fuck all about the Hokage despite Hashirama having been alive less than 100 years ago. History class doesn't exist in the Leaf.

This season is determined to ruin the racing in as many different ways as possible lol. Finally get something going towards the end and its ruined by the VSC, feels like that's happened two or three times now this year.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. I think a lot of guys have done a sneakily good job this year and been outshined by Mercedes being that much better. Red Bull and Audi especially for teams having new engines built in-house (I think Audi have been brutally unlucky to always be just outside the points). That being said, for Williams to have the Mercedes engine and be this pathetic is actually impressive. People have been doing a good job around the paddock, but Williams have absolutely fucked this, and JV has to hold the bag after talking up 2026 all this time.

I think in a game like this, unless you're one of those who loves having all the most OP guys, the best pulling philosophy is to just pull for characters you like and not feel bad about it. It's straight up unreasonable imo to expect to pull for every big operator, especially when HG gets rude and starts dropping limiteds back to back.

He's also a nobody on the social media side. He doesn't have a crazy charismatic personality, he's not the kinda guy that's amazing at fan interaction, and he's not going to do anything for Cadillac off the track that makes up for him being absolutely mid on it. He's a decent IndyCar driver, can't take that away from him, but he's literally just some guy that nobody really knows or cares about outside of Indy. I don't understand why they picked him for this project to begin with, because his nationality does nothing to move the needle for me.

I am so sick and tired of people bitching about that "I love you" scene as if Naruto didn't play just as much of a part in getting them there. Sakura lying to her friend about loving him is bad, fine, Naruto running the leaf into an international incident, possibly even a direct conflict with another nation because he can't stop chasing one guy is worse and it's not even close.

It was a shitty situation and a 16 year old girl made a judgment call that she thought would save the lives of her friends (and her village) because Naruto completely ignored how his actions affected everyone else. Get the fuck over it man, my god.

That entire episode is one of the most underrated episodes in the show imo. The color palette, the amount of long shots that they let you sit in for a few seconds in each scene, the shogi scene itself, it felt like a whole different show.

3 retirements right? Not nearly enough to make up the difference. And Antonelli is in his 2nd season, I'd expect him to be getting better much faster then Russell.

I mean Kimi has been excellent, nobody can take that away from him, but he's also been insanely lucky in that when he makes mistakes he hardly ever gets punished for them. George on the other hand, while I already said he's had some stinkers, he's also retired from 1st, 3rd, and 3rd this year, so there's some luck for him to recover going into next year too. I don't think Kimi will massively regress or anything, but I don't think it would be insane for things to come back to earth a little bit next year, especially if the other teams bring packages that can actually challenge Mercedes week-in and week-out from the start.

Yes he's had some stinkers, but he's also had a bunch of mechanicals and a team principal that has been pretty clearly leaning towards the other guy. I think there's more to come from George, but I'm not sure it'll happen at Mercedes.
