Meanwhile the left is in paroxyms of hysteria that IDF veterans might participate in a marathon in Australia soon, and many want anyone who's ever served in the IDF to be banned from coming to Australia.

It's hard to find the language for how disgusting I find the left to be in Australia now. I would only vote for them if I was hoping for Australia to have the same terror-related problems that Germany and France have.

The issue probably isn't so much that the UK is a literal Islamic Republic. I would say self-hating white leftists still have much more influence in the UK than Muslims do. The problem is the 'two-tier' justice system that leaves Muslims largely unregulated and unaffected by the law in the UK so that radicalism can easily spread without much of a state response until it turns violent, and even after that, there's no response to the actual cause.

It seems to have been a pre-prepared response based on the fact that protests and genocide accusations began on October 7 itself. I assume this was blasted across Arabic Al-Jazeera and other propaganda sources.

Ironically you can find clips from Arab TV that cast Hamas in a much worse light than anything Western TV would ever broadcast. There are many interviews with Hamas officials talking about how they want a bloodbath among their people to win the propaganda war and help them conquer Israel. In the West, you'd be called Islamophobic for claiming Hamas wants this even when it's their exact words on tape.

It's a funny situation we have in the West where actual Muslims in the Muslim world have a much more realistic and darker view of what radical Islamism entails and don't make excuses for it, and then you have non-Muslims here who have no real experience with Islam and claim it is essentially a religious version of Marxism.

For a lot of people, someone can receive funding from Islamists, be a family member of Islamists, hang around constantly with people who supported Islamists doing 9/11, themselves make excuses for terror attacks by Islamists, but until they say into a microphone that they are Islamist, there is absolutely no proof of any such leanings.
