Something besides Spectrum!

Hi,

So networking comes in many forms. It can be cold calling/messaging, going to events, talking to people in your company, going to your family events (who knows), volunteering, or just existing. The important thing to know is to be open, be kind, and be humble. Remember to not downplay your abilities, but not over-hype yourself.

For my internship: I had a physics mentor during high school, ended up getting an internship with his company in my freshman year.

For my first professional industry job: People viewed my profile on LinkedIn without interacting. I reached out and got an interview which lead to a job.

For my second/continuing professional job: Changed my LinkedIn status to open for work. Got a recruiter call me hours later asking what I was looking for. Told him to reach out in a next week. After staying connected with him eventually landed next job.

Hope this helps, this has been my current experience :)

I have had success with nightcrawlers and hotdogs. Catfish kinda eat everything.

I am wanting for the MC9L or Prime to come. I have the TP9SC (EDC rotation) and the Canik Rival (my match gun) both have thousands of rounds through them with no issues. Trigger is way better than any Glocks. It is a Walter clone that in my opinion is better than a Walter.

F**k scalpers too... I been wanting to get pokemon cards for months at this point. Never been able to find them in stores. Got excited yesterday to get the equivalent Sams club pokemon set, but before I put my card information in it got sold out 😭.

Pokemon has shiny Rayquaza and shiny Rayquaza is life. :)

Well that's awkward, I tossed a bunch so I could get more candy haha.

ExperimentLuna

San Bernardino, also nothing wacky is allowed aka S&W 500 magnum, AR pistols, 5.7s, deagles

ExperimentLuna

I would get one, but can't add it to my current CCW list of only 3 pistols :(

I own the Canik TP9SC (Daily CCW), Sig P365, and Rival. I can say I definitely like my TP9SC a lot more than the sig. The sig is pretty much a safe queen at this point. I also have a Canik rival and that is my go to uspsa gun.

Canik just have much better triggers and feel a lot better than Sigs. Only thing I do for all of my Caniks is pick up a brass back strap from Taylor Freelance and handleit grips.

ExperimentLuna

Oh my gawd, canik :0

Thanks!

Hey! Before you do it the X5 Legion is coming this year on roster!

ExperimentLuna

Any feeding issues? I am still with my Rival and since moving to CA, I doubt I'll get my hands on Rival-S anytime soon :/

ExperimentLuna

Totally interested!

*I did not put down polymeric sand yet

I think the weather got too cold. Everything is in place, edge banding tiles, etc. But I tarped everything down now. Since it's been raining and dipping to 30s at night.

ExperimentLuna

Thanks :)))

ExperimentLuna

Which is better for first time at competition? Prado or R66?

ExperimentLuna

Live in Texas, buy Canik and then move to California. That's how I have my Caniks in California. But I believe my friend say a TP9 near Fountain Valley for $1000. So I can ask if you are interested. Besides that wait to see if they ever get put on the roster or the roster is overturned.

ExperimentLuna

My biggest concern is I have 2 tiles left to cut and the contractor I have to cut them won't be available till 2/3 days. Temperature are cooling down to low 41 so want to take advantage of the heat if possible. So I could do 98% unless I can run a hairdryer over the joints haha.

ExperimentLuna

Yeah, this was supposed to be a Christmas and Bday gift for someone. But definitely challenging, am by no means a landscaper or tile person. Definitely not my day job haha
