I asked another person about aurora store he said there is a potential for something to go wrong. His exact words were.
Are you on GOS? If yes, then the answer is no. If you're on regular stock android or on a different custom ROM, it really depends on whether you prefer privacy or security more. Neither Aurora nor F-droid and all its forks are good app stores security-wise, there is potential for something to go wrong with them.
Specifically on GOS, there is really no reason to use Aurora instead of the Play Store for proprietary apps. As for FOSS apps, I personally just use F-Droid for browsing for apps only, as for installation, I use Obtainium.
Me again: I'm a bit scared to use aurora tbh, this could be just my paranoia?
