I wish it showed you the planned path/route on the screen during summon. I’d prefer even a few second delay while it figures out a tentative router back to you and shows it
On the screen before it starts moving.

This one hurt, especially with the complete BS calls at the end. I would’ve been fine with us getting completely blown out but to lose like this is crushing. I think I’m just over college football now.

Gotcha, yea if hard to run Ethernet it can get tricky. I also have a mini and when I first got it used it as my emergency backup. I had a switch in the garage so I just made up an extra long Ethernet cable and run it under the garage door and just sat the mini in the driveway when needed, worked great. If you can get any sort of Ethernet cable into the garage that would work as well.

OR….. just thought of this. Get the Starlink router mini, the small mini router made to automatically mesh with the Starlink mini’s built in WiFi. The router mini has Ethernet on the back that I’m pretty sure you can connect into your lan or gateway. Can place the router mini somewhere near a window or wall inside near where the dish is outside and extend the range some more. Speed will take a little bit but it’s just for backup.

Just trying to understand your setup. Mini has the router and WiFi built in. Regular starlink uses a separate router that’s usually placed inside so i’m assuming you don’t have an easy way to get an Ethernet cable from the dish to inside. How are you powering the mini? If you have attic access the best way is just run an Ethernet cable out the eave to the dish and then back into the attic and to a switch on your network.

In theory you could use a travel router like the UTR to connect to your mini’s WiFi and the use Ethernet from the travel router back into you Unifi gateway to use as a backup WAN. Kinda cludgy but should work in a pinch.

FLCardio

Do you have a starlink mini or regular starlink dish?

FLCardio

Can you get Ethernet from your starlink dish/router to a nearby Unifi switch? You don’t have to run Ethernet back to your gateway directly. You can connect it into a switch anywhere on your network and use some VLAN magic to route back to your gateway over another port.

Awesome good to hear. Yea I’d much rather support someone locally. Looking forward to trying them out and then I’ll have to decide which driver count, lol.

Old thread I know but can't find a lot of information on this brand. Still enjoying your Dream Earz?

Drummer here as well and Mitch is local to me so set up an appt to get molds done and demo his IEMs. Have been wanting custom iems for a while and initially looking at 64Audio and the usual big brands but dreaded finding a local audiologist to trust to make good impressions and then shipping them off hoping they would be good. Other thing I like about Mitch's are the plugs for different levels of isolation. Most of the big names I saw all seem to be ported and max isolation in upper 20's. Where I play mostly is in a full drum enclosure so I need as much isolation as I can get.

Earth green. Still love it and still my daily bag. I’ve taken it everywhere including international travel. It has really been a terrific bag, no regrets at all.

I also used this feature a good bit in other password managers and would like to see it supported in BW

For years had Netgear Orbi mesh and then moved to an Asus system with wired APs and it worked ok but I was still dealing with APs randomly going offline every month or two and would have to reboot the system every couple months.

Moved to Unifi last year, Cooud gateway fiber with combo of wired in ceiling APs and couple wired UX7’s and it’s been rock solid steady. Much more configurable and have had no issues.

I walked into my local service center and bought one. I called first to see if they had any on hand and walked out with a universal charger.

FLCardio

Can confirm. Reside on left side of a par 4 and get a fair share of ProV1s

FLCardio

Fiber definitely. If financially not a burden then drop your starlink to lowest plan and keep it as backup.

FLCardio

If I see something like that I'm coming off FSD and slowing down and letting them get far ahead. I wouldn't try to pass or risk getting caught up in some road rage beef between others. Defensive driving.

FLCardio

Holding not getting called and our pass coverage sucks. Gonna be a long game.

FLCardio

Just habit, well aware it doesn’t matter. Sorry to have hurt your feelings

FLCardio

Looks like starlink mini

FLCardio

So far 14.3.8 has been really good. ONLY thing I’ve come across so far is I feel it’s still getting over to the correct lane for upcoming turn or exit just a little later than I’d want

TesCam studio app. Also using their TesCam Hub, essentially a raspberry pi like device that plugs into the car’s dashcam usb port and then you can access your files over WiFi. You can use just the app but have to unplug the usb drive to plug into your phone to download footage.
