How I look at the broken armor in my inventory as I realize I underprepared for this fight. (It was full durability before, I guess I need a spare set) (i.redd.it) [Meme] [spoiler]

Bleed Paladin using Multistrike is my go to

Pushing corruption levels is really the ultimate end goal for a character who has accomplished all the other more static goals. Other than that, higher corruption does provide better drops to a point, though I believe it's curved so that the higher you go, the less going higher improves it.

It's mostly game knowledge. Knowing what builds come online early enough to blast through the game quickly, having a general idea of map layouts by having done them so many times, etc. A lot of people who speedrun the campaign also do little to no side-stuff, going so far as to leave skill point unlocks and such until later.

Basically, there isn't really a special technique that you're missing out on, just sweat and game knowledge.

Not terribly familiar with PoE2 vs PoE1, but if its the same, locks are used for the absolute highest level of crafting, more or less. You probably aren't operating at that level, I would sell it and gear myself with the proceeds, personally.

It appears in the outskirts zones. You need to have a certain herbalism level to get it, which is you can see on the skills screen. You need to specifically look for gathering points that look like wheat, although others will have it randomly sometimes.

Seems like a good time to have a contest of some kind tbh

Mr. Fancypants still has wayguards on his machine!

But yeah, some places are like this, unfortunately. Squeeze what experience you can out of the place and try to get in somewhere better; even good places are shorthanded a lot of the time.

If I recall correctly, both spirit and cunning increase "Duration Damage", which should affect bleed. *however*, you don't get much damage scaling from attributes, I'm not sure if the new expansion changed anything but you generally want to lean more into physique than anything to scale your HP pool higher. Hopefully someone a bit more meta-savvy can give you a more confident answer though.

I applaud your dedication. I made my concrete base like 1/6th of this size and I was sooooo done with the grind.

Buffs are a big thing. Make sure you have 3 different food items running to maximize your health and stamina, and if you're doing melee, the strength enhancement elixir is very powerful, and should last the duration of the fight if you time it well. I found the game has a weird difficulty curve when it comes to fights as you go from really squishy early on having 1000 HP and like 90% melee resistance by late T3 if you're really pushing it, so if you've gotta cheese some stuff early on to keep your sanity, just do it.

Problem Solver my beloved, can't beat a fuller auto SMG.

It also generates rage based on enemy power in the area, so make sure you're doing it when you're surrounded by enemies or close enough to whatever boss you're fighting.

Facekillz

You have Infernal Cry on yours, which, if I'm understanding it correctly, replaces the Ferocious Roar effect.

The Ruins of Kingsmarch have like 14 monsters. I think it's just how they handle non-player entities in some maps.

Curses/Hexblast Acolyte with MoM. No weird affixes on my gear to my knowledge, though I have been using a couple runic skills, Runic Remnants and Explosive Transmutation. I might try running without those and see if my situation improves, although I've been using them since well before the issues started.
