To be fair, I've always kind of attributed to the fact that it's because of being a superhero shooter. You have so many superpowers that make it so that ANY and EVERY moment is a "exact moment you are about to shoot" moment. We already have 'fields' superpowers (Magneto and Invisible Woman) that means moving your finger means missing your shot. We have enough 'magic' powers that in-universe would mean 'haha gun funny' and bamf gun go bye bye (Strange, Wanda...). And then we'll eventually get actual speed-themed characters... not like Spiderman and Black Panther aren't already "okay I'm gonna shoot them now--aaaand they're gone".
But, that's how I "cope" with something this minor. If it still bothers you in the idle / 'safe' areas, then use an emote where they put their weapon away - the sit emote works for this, for instance. Although I don't think there's any in-lore reason why the 'idle / safe' areas are safe - prior to Hood, it's probably just 'heroes wouldn't shoot into safe zones', but Hood would absolutely say 'eh, camp 'em IN spawn, not AT spawn, pindeho!'. So technically even the 'safe zones' aren't really 'safe' from the perspective of the characters.
Also, what another poster said - Deadpool and Star Lord would definitely not give two shits either way anyway. Also, Bruce Banner is a scientist more than a gun specialist, it's Hulk Smash not Hulk Shoot On Sight, just be glad he brought his little pew pew gun to a superhero fight in the first place. HULK SMASH, BRUCE SLAPFIGHT!
(Fun side fact: I had a real life friendship end because of the anime Soul Eater, because apparently 'because it's an anime and it looks cool?' meant I was a very long string of words meaning stupid that would offend multiple demonic deities to repeat, and unworthy of friendship, because literally "you can't fire a gun with your pinky!"... yeah, people take things too seriously.)

I feel like a large number of Pokemon GO players get carried through so much content by sheer numbers or by better players that when an actual challenge comes up, even if's just a LITTLE challenging, they... still expect to be carried.
Like, they went and made Gigantamax lobbies able to hold 100 people, they keep toying with Raids holding more people (see: live GO events, PokePark Kanto), it wouldn't surprise me at all if Dynamax Legendaries eventually got the same treatment.
(And I say this as someone who solo'd the three birds the first time they were available - not as a a brag, but so this next bit relevant. They were so flarking easy this time around. Moltres was the only one that was 'okay still annoying' but even it was WAY easier than the first go-around.)

Honestly I think it's going to take a Quick Play strike until people get properly ego-checked before anything happens.
Everyone likes to piss themselves shrieking about how you should take Quick Play seriously. I doubt they'd have the same enthusiasm if Quick Play became basically "if you aren't -actually- Eternity or above, you will be stomped, enjoy being treated like how YOU were treating the lower skilled players, GIT GUD THROWER."

Welp, time to ban all the new and low-tier players for 'throwing' when they get matched against the 6-stacks of GM/E/OAA players I guess. Playing a new character and learning how to fucking play them against actual people? Nope, not allowed any more.
Smurfing > matchmaking >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> this shit.
Also, oh no, you have a smurf on the enemy team in competitive though now? Don't worry, no punishment for them. But now you will sit there and you will be spawn camped by a bored OAA on their alt and you will like it.
NetEase has absolutely fucked up priorities.
And, honestly, fuck the QP community for turning into Competitive 2.0, I hope QP turns into nothing but GM+ and if you're not at that skill level you just don't get to play period, and see if a few months of "I LOST 30 GAMES IN A ROW T_T" changes some fucking minds. THIS IS A CASUAL GAME, BUT DO NOT PLAY IT CASUALLY OR ELSE. FUN IS BANNED. I actually hate the community for leading to this change being the priority.
(Also I can't wait for low ELO to backfire and the Smurfs are the only ones to not get banned while EVERYONE ELSE gets banned for 'throwing' because the report system goes 'omg this one player had a 50 k/d/a and everyone on the enemy team had 0/8/0, ban the whole team for throwing!')
[Fucking upvote/downvote as you pleased, this change is an entire fuck-you to QP, supports Smurfing even more, and actually promotes toxicity now, so, yeah, Reddit, do you thing, I don't even care any more]

Storm, Wanda, Mantis. Hawkeye gets a special mention as it's the closest to my favorite comic skin for Hawkeye, so if we ever get that, sorry freebie skin, you're no longer so special to me any more 😂

The context is literally in the very same image. They took the pillow fight too far and exploded the pillows. Dagger is making that face because there are literally -multiple- feathers from the pillows floating in the air. So it's either a face of "oh no, we exploded the pillows" or "oh geez this is going to be a mess to clean up".
Yes, they may have slightly overexaggerated Dagger's face. But to look at this picture and go "Cloak is harassing Dagger" is either sexist or racist. Pick your winner and go to bed without dinner.
[Edit] And, yeah, the window being open adds cold + it's blowing the feathers around into it.

It definitely has Pikachu in a hat

I think you might have had a stronger argument with 'in person component' + 'wild spawns being better' than... accidentally making the point that the Finales are more of the main event than the main event is.
Why play last year's GO Fest when the Finale brought them back AND Eternatus? Why play this year's GO Fest when it brought those back AND Armored Mewtwo AND one-of-three new Megas?
In fact, why play GO Tour this year since the Mega Night Megas all just came from Finale? We've just semantically murdered GO Tour in the process.
I'm ready to share in the downvotes for daring to use Reductio Ad Absurdum on Reddit o7

Angela if she decides all her kidnap cooldowns have your name and your name specifically on it.

I mean, honestly, just give them a second type move for their third move, and let us Charge TM between the two. Best of both worlds, since the small pool would mean you'd only ever have to spend 1 Charge TM to swap between the moves. You wanna double-down on existing power? Cool. You wanna give type coverage? Also cool.
This doesn't have to be a binary all-or-nothing system.

For just this season's top overall picks... Hood, Jeff, Luna, and Jubilee. So, uhm.
Aggressively singing the Rivals theme song while holding people at gunpoint.
... I think I can live with that. Sorry Daredevil mains. We all suffer together here in hell.
[Edit] Oh, missed Emma. So, even if you escape, or aren't my current gunpoint victim, enjoy having Marjeff Rivals blasted straight into your mind at maximum volume, I guess? DANCE, PEASANTS!

Yet they'd have to nerf Cap (again) if he converted to the cult of the Thong.

This sets precedent, but without refinement, this helps nobody.
Your PokeCoins are now negative. You want to raid for, say, Global Finale? Now you have to repurchase those PokeCoins, and then even more. So you still, in the end, ultimately end up 'paying' for that lost Shiny Groudon (or just encounter in general). Which means that the system is still flawed.
Considering Shiny Legendaries from Raids are 'you hit it, you get it', then the ONLY acceptable solution is to be given a way to 'recover' lost Raid Encounters - EVEN if the Raid ends before you can relaunch the game, EVEN if the internal timer times out (switches to the 'raid complete' flag so you can't 're-do' the Raid, which auto-wins because obviously you've already won, and you get your encounter; instead, you just see 'Raid Completed'). You already hit this in your 'Constructive Fix' section, but... semantics; 'Constructive' should be 'Mandatory' in this case.
This is a step, but this isn't the entire war, and I am totally behind the players winning this one. Brazil's set us up to get ACTUAL odds displayed for Incubators eventually, this (hopefully) sets us up to completely rewrite Raids to make the BOSS be the Gatcha reward - and then the Brazil Incubator situation will apply to them, too.
I 100% consider this a win though. Thank you for your service, OP - the negative PokeCoin balance instead of 'here's your Shiny Groudon encounter back' is bullshit, but thank you for opening the path for others.

"Avoid team drama", another reply "there is no drama", this reply "picking a team is no drama so there's drama around it". And 21 downvotes.
This thread is full of Wooloos and I give up making sense of it any more.
Faladyne
I have 18 downvotes JUST for saying that. Tell me. 😂

I know that feeling so well as a Strategist-leaning player.
Like, when your team has no synergy, everyone is absolutely everywhere, sometimes it's completely overwhelming like "what am I even supposed to do here?"
Faladyne
This is slightly off topic, but I am seriously questioning your team's IQ already just from the bans.
Enemy team bans - "we are absolutely going to run dive"
Your team - "cool let's leave Magik and Black Cat completely open"
And then a Magik wrecks everyone's crap. Throw in a Hood and that would have been a slaughter, completely one sided.
[Edit] Honestly, the more I look, the more I wonder why Magneto or Thing didn't go Hood, if the Iron Man stayed Iron Man the whole game. Hood is at least a little pokey, and Iron Man has relatively low deaths considering everything else. Probably their Luna was taking him out?

Every time a Harmony thread pops up and this question inevitably gets asked, I always end up questioning my own sanity and wondering if "Nuzlocke" is actually not well known at all and actually really niche.
Faladyne
Others prefer to avoid team drama, which still exists 10 years later in some places.
Can't be "ew you're a [team]" if you aren't any team at all!
[Edit] Downvoting proves my point. Thank you to the 57 people (and counting) who have made it.

Insinuating we need to buff any other character? How dare you, emergency Luna Buff, and then a regular Buff in the next weekly patch, and then a seasonal buff!
And of course to balance things we'll nerf Psylocke to 4m falloff, half her shots, and 2 second invisibility is just too much, who does she think she is, Black Cat? 1 second and increase the volume of her footsteps.
Faladyne
While I honestly hope this goes the way you're hoping it to go, realistically, they sell the narrative that "the rewards are the items and the encounter is a bonus!".
So, their response to your complaint is going to be that you got the items from the Raid so you got what you 'paid' for (regardless of free/premium pass usage).
Aren't scummy policies just to avoid having to reveal GACHA rates great?

https://tracker.gg/marvel-rivals/profile/ign/AjenLarod/overview?season=19
So, fun fact, when somebody's UID is listed, you can just... look them up on tracker.gg and see their history. Which gets you the replay ID's from each match.

I can share a 'well shit' story from my own collection!
Low ranked game. Wolverine decides to kidnap me because I'm Jeff and let's bully Jeff. I had my Ult. I was looking to use it anyway. He delivers me straight into the middle of his team. Easiest 6-kill I ever got in my life thanks to it.
I can imagine kidnapping a Groot who has Ult ready would end similarly.
So, yeah, a good Wolverine has to track Ults too, and that's not really a 'low elo' skill. Because, partly, too, low elo Ults are... whatever, whenever, who the hell knows, they either hold Ult all game, panic-Ult, or Ult as soon as it's ready even if it's objectively useless to use at the time.
Faladyne
Got it.
Male Loki has rigor mortis.
"This just in: it is now the Darkest Day, again, which is making scientists ask the obvious question: which Darkest Day is, in fact, the darkest? Experts report opposing companies Niantic and Scopely claiming that their Darkest Day is, in fact, the actual darkest. Research continues amongst fierce debate.
In other breaking news, Pikachu has recently been seen in the shopping district, looking at hats. Trainers around the world have already begun rationing Raid Passes and sanity, with several interviewees reporting saying "please, no Dynamax Costume Pikachu, I already have Max Debt and no Max Particles". The Silph Press will continue to provide updates on this alarming situation as it develops further."
