Not really, but we're aware of business realities. Professional orgs are businesses. Businesses need to make money. If they don't make money, they can't sign teams. If orgs don't sign players, they won't have the time to grind the game as soon as they're out of school.

Prize pools in Rocket League aren't high enough for orgs to subsist on (especially since AFAIK the players take most/all of their winnings anyway). So they need to make money through decals (lol), merchandise (lolol unless you're KCorp) or through sponsorships.

In a perfect world, Epic pays the orgs enough to survive without sponsors, but seeing as how they change the game ball themselves for sponsor money I'm pretty sure they won't.
