I think you can follow from their qualifier for warlocks that they meant friendly lore prominent shadow priest. Shadow priests obviously exist in lore but they are monstrous pariahs specifically because of the methods they use like the twilight father.

Its actually more likely it is significantly smaller than you think especially if you think Dark Souls on Switch is 60fps capable when it was sub 30fps on 360 at sub 720p resolution.

They dont have unannounced Switch projects, From NEVER said they are developing for Switch.

From Softwares logo was on the "Nintendo partners for Switch" powerpoint slide and fans ran with that as "here comes an exclusive from From Software".

That slide could have literally meant they sent them a dev kit, it means absolutely nothing and From has never acknowledged working on anything for Switch. And honestly why would they? Switch's large portion of the market is Japan which largely dislikes Froms "western" games.

The initial sale of the console is not the part they care about, its the licensing fees, the online subscription costs, and the storefront which actually brings in the money.

Thats why so many companies felt comfortable selling at a lose, its everything that comes afterwards which is where the real money is at and everyone knows this even Nintendo which is why they refuse to give up their hardware market.

Here lemme help you out bud, Sony and Xbox right now have sold roughly 90m consoles. Nintendo even including last gen is about 18m.

There is far more overlap in those 90m also having a PC than those 18m.

If you counted Sony and Xbox from last gen, that number is 390m.

Like just by following basic logistics that chance that there is more total overlap in that 18m compared to the 390m is just plain flat out idiotic. Look at the amount of people blowing their load about getting a DOOM port they repeatedly said they never played. I'd hazard a guess and say Nintendo + NOTHING is more common than Nintendo + PC.

I've been saying forever that PC + Nintendo gives the widest breadth of high quality content.

And you would be wrong, you'd be missing out on the hundreds of titles only offered through the other platforms, last gen alone that meant even huge multiplatform titles like RDR GTA5 Destiny 1 didnt see PC releases and those were the biggest games in the world when they launched. All games PC gamers would need a console to play and likely had a console specifically to play.

As for the Wii U, don't sleep on it.

I've had PS4 since launch and even with masterpieces like Bloodborne and Persona 5 I can easily say that I put more time into my Wii U.

With the Switch its even more pronounced, in only six months with it I've blown four years of PS4 usage out of the water.

You didnt play Destiny 1 at all? How about Horizon? Persona? Last of Us? Uncharted? Bloodborne? No plans to play RDR2?

I own a PC and I would definitely say I lean towards PC for most of my gaming, I got more hours in DOTA 2 and Overwatch than I'll have in any other games for years, I play ALL of my multiplatforms on PC and there are tons of PC only exclusives like WoW that make up probably 95% of my gametime.

I also own a Switch and own a total of 3 games and my system says I played 120 hours total across all of them (Zelda/Odyssey/Mario Kart) and see no reason to play them further nor do I see any releases on the horizon until Metroid 4/Pokemon releasing in more than a year from now.

I also own a PS4 where I played Nioh this year, where I played Horizon, and Uncharted, and Persona, all this year alone. Destiny alone (a Xbox/PS exclusive) has quadruple the amount of hours alone compared to all my Switch time.

Saying these systems are redundant really speaks to how little you actually know, how many PC gamers are gonna feel like the consoles are "redundant" next year hearing everyone play Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Last of Us 2, and God of War, and Spiderman? I know I'll be playing those games on PS4 because I CANT PLAY THEM ON PC. The same reason I bought a Switch to play Zelda and Mario, problem is thats the END of the Switch good games list and it wont be seeing many more releases at all because the only people supporting the system is Nintendo whereas Sony has 3rd party exclusives like Persona, like RDR releasing next to their first party output as well.

Tell those guys where they can get those games on PC because I'm sure they'd love to hear your insider info.

If you play on PC your interests most likely align more with what Sony and Microsoft and traditional AAA studios make rather than the quirky Nintendo brand output.

For the Wii U Nintendos output was awful, if you were going for an "exclusive machine" you basically traded RDR/Last of Us/MGS4/Journey/Uncharted/Demon souls/ect. for Mario Maker/MK8/Smash.

It is fucking easy, none of the sections on either of those worlds is difficult at all and EVEN THE GAME KNOWS THIS which is why the difficulty is doing them ALL with no mistakes.

None of it ever is "I cant do this, its too difficult" its always, oh fuck i screwed up once and have to start over 20 minutes of this level. Its tedious, not difficult.
