Thanks. Any workaround for this? Essentially I want to send different notes from one track to two different tracks.
FastAsUcan
That's disappointing. I'll try and build a MIDI channel filter. Thank you!
FastAsUcan
Are you sure you can select your percussion plugin as a source under "MIDI from"? or is it an audio source? Would love to take a look at the plugin if you don't mind sharing the name of it.

The m4l device works as intended, I put a MIDI monitor device on the target track and I see that it does send the MIDI notes on the different MIDI channels, I'm just looking for a way to filter the notes so that it only accepts notes on a specific channel.
Are you saying that there may be a way to build the M4L device so that it is available in the "MIDI from" dropdown on another channel?
FastAsUcan
Interesting, how do I do that? I don't see the device as an option in the "MIDI from" dropdown.
FastAsUcan
I think it looks great! Some color would be interesting

Just started DMing and playing with my daughters, this looks awesome!
FastAsUcan
This is awesome. Makes me happy that people are still using it!

Great suggestion, was curious so I tried it! https://www.youtube.com/shorts/PdUKU4fMGuA
The small differences in frequency lead to less symmetrical and evolves in a more interesting way.
Thanks!

I'm working on a p5 library called "p5.modulate", which brings concepts from the world of modular synthesizers into p5. Think LFOs, envelopes, sequencers, clocks and more.
Here's an explanation of what's happening in this sketch:
- A random number of particles are laid out on a circle
- Each particle moves on the circle's radius, using an Sine LFO (low frequency oscillator) to determine where it is
- The frequency of all of the LFOs is the same, but their phase is different
The different variations this simple sketch creates are super interesting to me.
See the code here (mouse click randomizes the parameters):

For day 11 of Genuary 2023 I decided to mess around with hand recognition models. I generate random shapes based hand landmarks, and assign a random color palette.
Try it yourself [here](https://www.odedwelgreen.com/genuary-2023-11) (only on desktop)

Yep!
I created an animation with Processing, than ran it frame by frame through GauGAN2.
FastAsUcan
It totally looks like each one has a different personality. Love it!
FastAsUcan
Yep, exactly. I thought about trying to calculate PSI and doing it according to that, but the result is more or less the same.
FastAsUcan
I used this repo to render frame by frame, essentially exactly like you describe https://github.com/gormlabenz/gaugan2-renderer
FastAsUcan
Essentially yes. I used this python script (not mine) - https://github.com/gormlabenz/gaugan2-renderer

Thank you!
The music is a track I'm working on. I'll let you know when I finish it :)

I love the real scene, well done!
I wanted to try and create dream like objects that don't quite exist in real life. Though your real scene looks way more organic. Thanks for the suggestion!
I used Processing to create the input video in code. It's a 2D scene, not a 3D one.

This is my entry for Genuary 2022 day 10 - "Machine learning, wrong answers only".
I created a simple animation in Processing of some rotating/moving rectangles in different colors, then ran all frames through GauGAN.
FastAsUcan
This is all using transforms - translate and rotate.
For the square, I just thought where the rotation pivot point should be in each of the 4 segments of the loop, and then I thought about the movement of the circle in each one of the segments. I then just kept track of a rotating angle, and kept history of all points on on the circumference of the circle based on that angle. Feel free to DM me if you have questions or would like some guidance, I'd love to help.

Code is here, though obligatory warning - it was not meant to be read by others, and it can for sure be more performant/clean/etc.
FastAsUcan
These are beautiful, well done.

I started with the simple spirograph idea of a circle trapped in a square, and on a whim decided to speed it up and erase the canvas every 5000 steps. I did not expect all of these patterns to form. This video is all from the same run, it just shifts from pattern to pattern on its own!
Created with Processing.
Thanks! This seems promising, I'll look into it.
