I don't think police are regularly held accountable for shooting, but compared to twenty years ago they are held much more accountable through phone camera's. The cops are turning a blind eye because these party gatherings that turn violent are a symptom of a much greater problem and tepid half measures that most of the public supports are not effective. A conspiracy is multiple people conspiring to do something. Obviously, people do this all over all the world. Theory simply means it is unproven. The term conspiracy theory popped up after JFK's assassination as an attempt to discredit alternate theories about his death and has been used to discredit multiple theories of conspiracies that are factually true at this point, or they are the most statistically probable event. The efforts behind starting the war in Iraq started out as a conspiracy theory, now its just a factually proven conspiracy that The Project for a New American Century organization conspired to work with President Bush's administration to start. The origins of the Covid-19 virus in the Wuhan Institute of Virology was called a conspiracy theory despite being 20 miles away from the original infection. It's now accepted as the most likely cause. There are hundreds of proven conspiracies that were deemed "Conspiracy theories" and labeled as lunacy only to proven correct later on. The term conspiracy theory was designed to activate your brain in a way that just dismisses alternative thinking as nonsense. Nearly everyone believes in some sort of conspiracies, proven or unproven, some have just been marketed as acceptable for society and don't get labeled as conspiracy theories by major institutions, whereas ideas unpopular to major institutions get the bad label. You are hearing mean words spoken across the planet by people who you will never have another interaction with or ever meet or ever have any involvement in your life determine how you feel. Fire back at these teammates. Roast them, mock them, but really stop caring about people whose only way in life to affect you is through voice chat. You build relationships by spending time together and doing activities. You gave your wife the green light on spending x amount of hours a week with an ex. You should have never done that. Personal freedom is not an important foundational belief for conservatives. If it was we wouldn't have the largest government on the planet. I don't think its weird, but its inappropriate and it is risky behaviour. I take tolerance breaks a couple of times a year and you gotta find something else to do. Start a new hobby, get back into something, exercise, anything to keep you occupied until you stop thinking about it so much. You should do your best to be a good neighbor. These are people in your community and you should care about how they think about your actions.
