Most of that is probably publicly available already, such as the electoral role, and other sources. Tho hackers getting a full set of such data probably does make a valuable asset for those that would try to use such data.

I bought one of those EDID plugs that is supposed to retain the device id. Haven't tried it yet so don't know how reliable it is.

I use Packt publishing when I need to learn a new code library or feature. I don't use their video courses so can't comment on quality, but their books have always been packed with good information and easy to follow. They have this:
"You racist bastard!" or whatever. You know they are all just victims of their upbringing, right? It's not up to them to just suddenly learn not to be a cunt. Apparently.
