Nothing. There's nothing to do. This is not a government who depend on your input to get reelected, at most this has show EA that there's a market, but not necessarily enough of one to spend a couple million dollars to make it to fruition.

This game was not one year away from launch.

I don't get why everyone assumes the avatar, who can enter the avatar state completely by accident in rage induced moments ( which is like most of Aang's moments in the series) would lose to firebenders when he can access that the same power of the comet when he gets in said state.

Kyoshi was moving the seabed without realising she was the avatar but Aang wouldn't be able to go berserk against the fire nation soldiers.

I don't think it would be unfair to give everyone a six. My distinction between the two comes purely because I think Lewis should've been farther in front of Leclerc given that the later was finding the wall in far too many races. Leclerc clawed away what is around 30 out 39 points gap between the two. ( Monaco +18, Spain +25, Monza +8, Miami +3, Madrid -10, Miami being considered a practical DNF)

No. The power of Ozai in the show comes from him being until the final season of the story an untouchable force of nature. The only glimpse we have of him is him burning his own son for daring to question a bad plan that killed soldiers lives.

Exploring his flaws and insecurities is something for a story after the ATLA, during you weaken the myth around him.

I think this undercuts much of the conflict. Conscription always is a temporary state, you cannot maintain a population in such for long periods of time, there's a natural fatigue and this is what is the point of the Faceless here.

Elora seems to be just fine, with lavish diners and a council with all the luxuries while keeping the benders in this state. Benders don't seem to be given leave to meet families, take care of personal business or anything in between events which they are asked to help society. This is the tension in the series, for how long can you ask a group to bare an uneven burden for the survival of the whole without taking any measures to alliviate the matter.

First you need to know which track are you driving. A track with long straights the crossover will be sooner as the wet tyres due to their larger diameter limit your top speed.

The second criteria is how wet is the worst part of the track and can I deal with it. You have to accept that you're going to lose time in certain places and gain back in others. Probably if you have a harpin with a decent braking zone and run off you can run the risk, if the wettest part of the track is a corner with little run off and any mistake is a race ender, maybe stay in the wets longer.

In general, Iracing under estimates how much a wet tyre gets hot in damp conditions. You can run them for far longer than you'd initially expect.

6/10. Basically in the same place the team has been for the past 4 years, but making slow progress to the right direction operationally. Fred needs to be given more time in the end. The engine fumble however is innexcusable, as Enzo said Aerodynamics are for those who don't know how to build engines, and this season is the living proof of this.

Charles - 7/10 - Far too many unforced erros. He needs to learn to just accept the pace the car has sometimes and drive with his brain, not heart. He has talent, he has the speed, even after having an affair with the wall this season, he's still only 9 points behind Lewis, but he won't be a champion if he can't fix these things.

Lewis - 6/10. There were two seasons for Lewis, the run up to Barcelona and afterwards. He was the fastest until then, consistent and even scored a magnificent win on pace alone. And then it all fell appart, getting a penalty per race for 5 races in a row and crucially, he's only 9 points in front of his teammate who had 3 more DNFs. He is much better than last year, and has been more consistent than Leclerc. But his improvement from last year hides what has been a average season and below his talent.

Few_Introduction1044

Before they made the physics incredibly exploitable and were playing catch up with eSports, maybe. Now LMU is a better sim even with its terrible TC model. Unironically, Iracing is the one that made the most strides with the GT3s and has an unmatched wet system.

The problem of the illusion is that it doesn't address the root problem in the Earth Kingdom. You still have local lords biding for power and not working as one to build a modern nation. He must be given the value of trying, he constantly is trying to build a identity for the nation, a center for it to build towards, but himself is part of the issue with creating all these double dealings.

(And the series can't progress the Earth Kindgom dynamic and just makes the vague point of wee democracy with Wu because it can't address the forementioned elephants).

Few_Introduction1044

I think Jianzhu is an illusion of a good leader. He had power, but the keys around him were still build through corruption and the image. A great example of this comes in the book with the kid that Kyoshi spares. He was a warlord who controled the warlords, but any external force would make it bend. It's the same problem as Kuvira.

Here we enter the problem of effectively making a nation based on China without wanting to address the Chiang Kai-shek, Mao and Xi Jinping elephants in the room. The earth Kingdom is basically forever stuck in the "warlord era".

Few_Introduction1044

It seems it can always get worse for Russell.

Lewis getting away with a sneaky bad season after Barcelona because of how inconsistent his teammate has been. Leclerc played matchmaker with the wall for five races and has only 9 points behind.

Few_Introduction1044

Because there's over 20 years of graphical development between this in engine trailer and the original trilogy cutscenes.

Here the solution is also raise the car, run different springs etc all of which cost performance. Cars can be made to be more compliant with a bumpy track. It is pretty revisionist to claim the 2022 cars were not causing health concerns to some drivers, especially when the FIA did make the technical directive to alleviate the issue.

Ultimately, it is immaterial. The final part of my statement still stands, if it is affecting all drivers he can easily bring the matter to the GPDA and have no issue convincing his fellow drivers to support a request for action.

Few_Introduction1044

I think they are running out of practical avatars. The Zonam book seem to be an attempt to create a new line that is distant enough of Aang to create new possibilities, but also I don't see many more world building marks to go through.

As for the people around Aang, it only remains to adapt them into a show and short stories (comics). Stezo is just not an interesting premise, and Kuruk has the 6ft Kyoshi problem that anything further down the timeline be a prequel of the more interesting avatar. Hence why I think this series is a bit of an experiment.

Few_Introduction1044

F1 does, but through their union, the GPDA. The whole purpose of the GPDA is for drivers to take concerns that affect a majority of the drivers to the FIA as a unified voice to call for changes. It was this that brought, for example, the heat hazzard rules that we have now, coincidentally ones that Max was making fun off not even one race before.

This is not a dig at Max himself, but to a problem that is in the nature of motorsports: drivers, on their own, will only raise questions when it affects their individual performance. Case in point here, not four years ago, Redbull was completely dismissing the porpoising issue, as they were the fastest car. You can't heed to every complaint.

Max has a channel if he wishes to demand changes to COTA bumps, raise the matter with the GPDA president (Russell) and try to convince his fellow drivers that this is a critical saferty matter and demand, together action from the FIA.

Until then this will be taken, rightly, by the FIA as one driver trying to gain an edge because their car sucks at dealing with a bumpy track.

Depends on how they plan 7H to end. But it is effectively a narrative reset for the world, they can build anything afterwards.

If I were to bet, likely they will focus on avatars before Aang. The Kuruk series seems to be a test of concept before committing to something more dangerous such as transforming the novels into a TV show.

Few_Introduction1044

The civilian fleet would most likely be running supply runs. It was the reason why Hecket wanted it. You wouldn't risk it on this assault, and if you did, it likely would be a minimal crew, not necessarily those who operated the food production of these ships. Probably, many would need to remain in Ranoch, as the planet itself was not prepared to sustain the population yet.

Few_Introduction1044

No publisher will fund it. They are forcing everything into GoT like 9/10 ep seasons regardless if it fits format.

There's no technical impossibility, it is just where the market is right now.

Few_Introduction1044

The idea of an animation show with 24 episodes in 2026 is simply not possible. I get the wish, but it won't happen any time soon.

But on the merit, I don't think the world building being affected at the minute. You can see the subtle cracks of Elora's social contract through the faceless, EPs 4 through 7 were not filler as we usually would define it, but they just move the plot as the faceless queen is arrested.

I don't think the pacing is a problem right now

Few_Introduction1044

It's messy world building wise. First quarians and Turians would not have food outright. Second because earth would struggle to sustain such a population spike after the reaper war. How many crops, factories etc were reduced to dust.

A more realistic scenario would've been something akin to the expanse, and society expanding across the solar system and nearby starts, as ships can FTL.

This is the overall sentiment I've been getting from these leaks, the overall plot seems quite interesting and definitely a way to switch up the franchise past the reapers and into something that could be sustained. But the world building has be scratching my head and skeptical.

Few_Introduction1044

Everyone who knew dragon age was gone from BioWare before the closing of the studio. It is not nearly as simple.

Besides, at this point, the effort is to save BioWare. There's little point in dividing the message and creating less momentum, for more that I personally believe this will not change a thing.

Few_Introduction1044

A part that I see no one considering is that we don't know the when of this. It does seem like it is future industries using the spirit energy but it can also easily be after Assami's death.

I feel like having her be the world destroyer due to her hubris in believing she could control a technology everyone was so opposed to in LoK would be a weird narrative choice.

Few_Introduction1044

Something a lot of comments in this thread seem to be missing is that this is a system that is a constant for a sizable portion of time. Conscription is a temporary state and would be accurately depicted if the benders were called to defend Elora *when* a threat was near.

In one of the first scenes of the story, we see a bender being taken away from their families. Jae is activelly hunting Pavi in the first episode. His friend can barely visit her family. There's clearly a sociatal tension that the show wants to explore more here, the problems of having a non volunteer force.

You can't place the burden of hard times in a sole group of society without creating problems. Here is everyone's confort, not survival, at the expense of bender labour.

Few_Introduction1044

Like I get that. 600 years is basically a reset, they can do whatever they want and have a plausible justification for it.

My point is not this is impossible to happen, but from a narrative standpoint you want the world to be at least somewhat recognisable. Otherwise you're just writing another universe.

Few_Introduction1044

I have many qualms with the world building.

The idea of a cold war between the races is, interesting, but humans and batarians? Wouldn't it make more sense for the council races to split, Human and Turians Vs Salarians and Assari over the choices of the genophage? Having the geth, who can get wiped many different ways in the choices be a superpower?

I feel like it's so unrecognisable. Narratively it might work, but just odd.
