Hey there I know of some private nature trails in the bastrop area! Great place to get away from everything and everybody and the stars look amazing out here! 😎

So i have them in a tub with a bag over the top and i have it set up to where it can still breath but not enough to dry it out, the cakes were soaked for 24 hours so I was planning on waiting a couple days to start misting them... thoughts??

He's VERY much a technical person I mean the amount of times ive heard him say "technically..." lol which is all good hes super smart and im learning alot but im definitely more on the chill side I would call it. Im still very sanitary but also testing all sorts of experiments with all my bags for no reason other than im super interested in fungi. He on the other hand has his method that he sticks too.

A bag but I cut the bag for this particular situation as I had assumed it was contaminated

Few_Writing8605

Ya thats why I had gotten confused because by the end of mixing the spawn with the substrate its basically everything happening in that one bag lol

Few_Writing8605

My thoughts exactly

I get that, im sure alot of people will probably get on my ass for this one as it feels totally wrong when I do this 😬 but in your exact situation ( One massive mushroom and the rest are super tiny) I would have also harvested the ones that clearly arent ready to be harvested just due to being taught to harvest everything all at once 👀 but best thing about all of this is that there's plenty more to come 😇 experiment a little because everyone has different opinions so you'll never actually be 100% right 💁‍♂️

Hey brotha im probably the newest member besides you and im definitely a super newbie but ill share my personal experiences though everyone is different. I was taught to harvest all at once because when harvesting it puts the mycelium in a state of stress which can cause the smaller ones to stop growing completely. Like I said everyone is different and people do things the way that work best for them. I also do aio bags and other than not harvesting all at once I feel like it could definitely be a lack of moisture

Last week I was dealing with this exact same problem i even soaked my cake for a few hours (which im learning isnt long enough). I waited a day and seen no changes so I took a risk and I heavy misted my aio bag and im talking heavy, the next day it began fruiting and by day 2 it was ready for Harvest 🤷‍♂️ im a super newbie in the game though so maybe it was a case of luck as im learning that misting directly isn't good 👀

Wait I figured it out, he was just blowing out a CLOUUUUD 💨

Few_Writing8605

Lol now I gotta go see how much my washer shakes thanks for the idea 🔥🔥🔥

Few_Writing8605

So something in me told me to heavily mist them since they have been sitting ducks i figured what do I have to loose and all 7 of them began fruiting again 🤪

Few_Writing8605

How thick was your cake?

Few_Writing8605

The blue is just bruising from my understanding right? There is no green and the blue doesn't rub off its definitely part of the mycelium
