Here’s the final product!! I used a water based stain and then sealed it. Sanding was easier than I thought it would be!!

Hey everyone! Thank you all for the advice, it made my first project much less intimidating. I ended up hand sanding it all down, staining and sealing. I haven't screwed it back to its base yet but wanted to share an after photo for anyone that's interested:) Definitely made some hiccups along the way but I'm pleased it turned out okay.

I force myself to eat some toast for breakfast and drink water with the pill in the morning, then i’m usually not hungry again until 8-9 PM 😬 i’m on week 2, titrated from 25-50 and going up again on Thursday to reach 75 mg. Considering all of the food in the US is trying to kill me, I guess it’s good timing to not be hungry?
