Zipper and tilt-a-whirl! I haven't tried in years but I'm afraid either would be too much for me now. Swinging even feels way more intense than it used to. I used to LOVE swinging. Now I'm getting to be able to tolerate it again. It's an ongoing question in my family whether it's age or having gone hough pregnancy that causes the changes.

Someone in our extended family mentioned "John and crew" were doing something and I forgot for a second that his grandson is named Crew. It didn't help that he didn't capitalize Crew, but spoken I would have also assumed it was John and a bunch of other related people or friends!

Oh, interesting! I agreed with the cartoon and some other people's experiences (like debates and important talks being frustrating) but I would 100% rather have a conversation about anything like projects or plans because it takes so much longer to convey nuance and you can't flow very well based on each other's contributions!

Me too. Specifically, I tied the embroidery floss at the end so the needle can't come off and I'm doing random little designs so it doesn't have to be precise. And I can add literally one stitch. It's something and my work won't be undone. Stitch by stitch things take shape.

Check out buy nothing! Our community has a couple of bins that make the rounds and people occasionally give their whole maternity wardrobe away. Marketplace and Craigslist I imagine are also good.

I had a lot of luck at thrift stores but it can be hit or miss whether anyone dropped off in her size more recently than anyone bought in that size.

The only things I got new were two shirts, a few bras, a dress for my shower, and a pair of leggings. The leggings were totally worth it even though I'm not usually a leggings person. It was nice to have one really special dress, but I got quite a few as hand me downs and thrifting. The shirts got enough use because I purposely got ones that were nursing friendly but it was so easy to find used shirts I really didn't need to. If she's not really big chested already, I really liked the Larken x bras. So comfortable and versatile!
