It’s my favorite shirt I own and gets a surprising number of compliments, and I always say “thank you! It’s New York City trash” and then they actually look at it and probably wish they could take their compliment back. I love it.

I mean.. is an extra $2 or $3 for a couple hours really that big of a deal on top of like, $50 minimum for two people to go out to eat downtown?

Yes! Like, I loved it, I had a good time, I liked the writing and the setting and it was silly but in a good way and I just don’t know how to break it down better than that 😅

I’m really good at articulating what I don’t like about books, but I’m AWFUL and explaining what I liked. I obviously love when I love a book I get from netgalley but also dread writing those reviews because I don’t know how to put into words why I liked it (which is really annoying).

This was bothering me so much! A few months ago she hauled like 75 books then unhauled “hundreds” (I don’t remember the actual total) and I saw an article about her saying how important it is to be choosy about what we keep on our shelves, then like a month after that she hauled 150 more books (to be fair, a lot were from publishers, but still) then 85 more books a few weeks after that!!
