What do you do for perishables?

My kids can easily spend a whole day at the lake. We do some hiking, pack lunches, maybe splurge on ice cream from the snack stand. They swim and get exhausted and sleep the whole way home.

Instead of foster care, if the orphan was living with their grandmother, then the grandmother would be given the SS benefit to cover the cost of caring for the child. I think the state considered themselves to be doing the same, though I wouldn't say it is ethical. Typically a grandmother wouldn't boot the kid out as soon as they turn 18 with no help either.

I didn't know about other schools, but my daughter's has been including nearly all required study materials in with tuition. I've only spent $50 on books for the year.

I didn't need a car in Oahu. There are trolleys in Waikiki and buses and Ubers to go anywhere else.
