It took me thirty five YEARS and a lot of money to understand why I am the way I am. I don't like it when others adopt that same diagnosis. You can think what you like but as far as I'm concerned it's not that way unless a diagnosis is made.

Lastly, are you honestly trying to compare someone self diagnosing as Autistic to someone with the "common cold"? Really?

Because it feels as though it's lessening the impact of said issues on those of us that ARE diagnosed.

You don't go around "self diagnosing" with impunity with any other condition without expecting kick back. Why should this be any different?

I bitch and moan and become increasingly angry and depressed at the lack of sleep.
