He also confirmed down thread that CC S2 will drop after MoT (don't recall whether we knew this already).

How present are the characters from previous games? Because honestly seeing, for example, Sephiroth show up in the trailer is what made me lose interest; crossovers are not what I want out of FF.

Yeah, that nose shot was gnarly and, fun(?) fact, medically accurate! ...Ok probably not, because I think they cut straight up the middle, but the uhhh (warning: maybe tmi) exposed cartilage with the flesh peeled back looked to me a lot like the photos my surgeon took during my own nose job. Eugh! 🫣😖

I loved both of those. Fun little winks to those who are familiar without being at all distracting or forced; exactly the kind of unobtrusive reference you'd want to see.

You don't need complicated forced perspective shots and sets like LotR to make a woman appear a few inches taller.

What??? There is definitely more than just ONE body horror film above 75% on there... I'm puzzled by that statement.

Ok, that description alone has convinced me to check it out. That sounds very compelling to me.

Nothing about this is obsessive compulsive lol

Same, really hoping for something in that vein.

Love to hear about my two faves working together in some capacity. Can't wait to see the film!

They're making another SW trilogy?

Do we have any reason to trust that source? I've never heard of them before.

Like it's literally easier for them to just say fem, it's 2 fewer letters!! I also don't understand using a term that comes from the French word for "woman" as a descriptor to essentially mean "feminine presenting but not necessarily a woman" over just using "fem", a shortening of feminine. It literally makes more sense to not co-opt the term that is important to lesbians specifically, imo.

The amount of "lesbian, bisexual" I see on dating apps. PICK ONE.

Y'all have definitely convinced me to go back to it. I stopped after the Ra's arc, though I was rather curious to see where the book would go from there, but now I want to pick it back up right away when I get home from the con.

I met Hayden yesterday and they said they were so grateful for how their art and this book have been received. Wish I hadn't missed the Absolute panel, but Hayden liked my Wonder Woman tattoo so I am content. 😅

Yeah, I'd love to have this Trask and put him with my sentinels and I definitely could afford it, but at this egregious price that money is better put toward one of the premium figures I have my eyes on, or the SHFs I've been getting into. Just not worth it.

I can definitely see that at least. The lack of any cutaway for the "trauma gun" in particular felt to me like it really undermined that entire section of the narrative (that coupled with only ever seeing those aliens as humans wielding common human firearms).

nah, he dead

Also in one of the bts vids, I think after last week's episode, Lindelof talked about how they started with the idea of writing a Lantern show set entirely on Earth and only ended up breaking that rule a little bit when they realized it was holding them back, and that's how the desert planet came in. So yeah, definitely not budget holding them back from a space adventure they would've rather told.

Yes, this is just the initial sculpt before they add the articulation. Look up their AbsBats if you want an idea of what they can do (it's frankly ridiculous, meaning that positively!).

1/12th

This is the first time I've seen it anywhere. Is it just collecting quotes from a character paired with a location from their setting? Surely no Steve ever said "yo nice rack" (was it the damn '09 movie?). 😬

She's a treasure.
