Late update, I ended up going 2-3. I cut 2 lands and think that was the correct decision. In any case I never got screwed on lands. I also admittedly didn't play as well as I could, and in hindsight should have mulliganed more aggressively, since I was only able to win games where I had a good curve out, but it was a fun deck nonethenless

I once saw somewhere that a person had made a Progenitus commander deck using only cards that are also names of songs on Spotify. A while ago I decided to make my own budget list. https://archidekt.com/decks/5076927/progenitus_spotify_edh

You can also find the original guy's decklist as a Spotify playlist if you search for it. There's a surprising number of good cards that are also song titles, and even an MTG song called Jace the Mind Sculptor

There's some cool rulings trivia I remember reading about in the main sub a few years ago.

Since [[chromatic sphere]] has a mana ability that lets you draw a card, the effect of drawing the card is not put on the stack, and you can only look at the card you drew after paying for a spell or ability you used the mana ability for.

So of course this messes with [[panglacial wurm]], so you can look at the top card of your library when searching and draw it faster than instant speed while searching

Nicely done! I got mythic playing Izzet Ensoul myself a year ago, but haven't found it to be good enough in this meta, though I have been playing bo3.

Only 3 Shrapnel Blasts is a surprise to me, and the Zoetic Glyphs aswell, I figured it would be too slow. What has been your experience?

Looks like they are playing the izzet starter deck you get for free and can play in starter deck duels. They're probably just new and don't have many cards
