A 38D is for an underbust measurement of 38in and a bust of 42in. A 32G is for an underbust of 32in and a bust of 41in. So while a 38D matches your bust measurement, I expect that a 32G will fit you much better! Just make sure that you buy a 32G UK and not a 32G US.

A 32D is actually made for the same bust measurement as a 34B, just with a smaller band. A 32D is for a 32in underbust and a 36in bust. 34B is for a 34in underbust and a 36in bust.

I actually think a regular wooden table (but a really orange toned wood) would work well, with brightly colored tablecloths and accents.
