Don't forget grandma, It took a while but I got through her.

Fodspeed

Yeah, to make sure you get the right one, just talk to them and then use a Ferrystone to go straight to the dragon.

To be extra sure, I had Ulrika on an escort quest, so she was with me the entire time. Then, when I reached the top floor, the dragon somehow kidnapped her while I wasn't looking. Skyrim Dark Brotherhood type shit.

Fodspeed

If you save her cubs and take her out, it increases her affinity. At high affinity, she'll help you in battle and drag your dead pawns to you so they can be revived.

So leave poor Freki alone, Arisen.

Fodspeed

I thought rivers barged in give him his phone.

Fodspeed

Let's fix match together arisen.

Guy on the right will farm the guy on the left for mats.

I feel like people often forget that the Pathfinder isn't very forthcoming. He lies to you as long as it keeps you on track. He's not a tyrannical ruler, or a ruler at all. He's a servant of the World's Will, more of a pawn whose job is to keep things going according to world will and like a pawn be a aid to arisen.

But even he shows a moment of clarity, during the Lost Rite Trials. After you clear the final trial, you meet him in his chamber, where he says something along the lines of, "Maybe you, of all Arisen, will prevail over the World's Will." It almost sounds like he actually wants you to win.

Me to my pawn... Get my shotgun---explosive arrows ready, we running it back.

Finn Balor, I have given up like 14th time

The big issue is that it cancels when you use Wild Fury, because the game won't let you have more than one clone at a time. So any skill that creates a clone will cancel it out.

You can spawn the clone right on top of an enemy's head, and it can't be knocked down. The problem is that even when I do that, I can't use Wild Fury to add to the damage. That's honestly baffling to me.

He literally split his soul away, gave his will to Eir, and left his body behind.

I think you need to replay the DLC, because it's easy to miss details on the first playthrough. The DLC explains everything. There's no room for doubt or interpretation. I'm gonna go in details and break everything down. So spoiler ahead if you hadn't finished it all the way.

First, Rovall didn't split his soul. There are two different worlds. In our world, Rovall sacrificed his soul and will to seal Satan, leaving only his human remains and his soul/godsbane behind.

In Eir's world, Rovall lost to Satan and became the Fallen Dragon. Satan have his heart/will in Nilfhel. The dragon then travelled to our world, drawn to our Rovall's soul and vessel. Eir followed him.

So it's impossible for Eir to possess Rovall's will when it's still trapped in Nilfhel. We spend the entire arc trying to free it. Eir even acknowledges that her master's will is still in the heart when Rovall's corrupted soul speaks to her.

The Sphinx also explains that Satan couldn't destroy Rovall's will because an Arisen's will is that strong. He could only corrupt it.

Hypothetically, even if Eir possessed some of Rovall's will, we wouldn't need his heart to bring the dragon back to life, just his soul. The Sphinx explains that the dragon is undead because it lacks a soul and will. If Eir already possessed all of Rovall's will, she could simply return it once we obtained the blade. So it doesn't make sense even in that scenario.

Meanwhile, our Rovall sacrificed everything to seal Satan, and his soul became trapped in Nilfhel. Eir had no access to our roval until we brought her to him. The only reason we could bring Rovall back was that his human vessel still existed in our world. When the Fallen Dragon died, his soul returned to those human remains.

Had Eir done the same in her own world, there would have been no human vessel to return to, because the dragon itself was Rovall's vessel. So the only reason she could save him was because of our world's Rovall. Even after saving him, rovall still doesn't have his will, because in post game letter, she said rovall isn't arisen anymore. Being arisen means having will. He doesn't have it because eir destroyed his heart. That's why I said at the start of the thread that eir is becoming human, because bestowal of spirit process only really happens after their arisen is either dead or aren't arisen anymore. In eir case, both of them are true.

But that is different from dragon plague, and in the dlc, Eir is Dragonplagued, especially since her master became a dragon. She shows all the symptoms, and her attempt to save him proves she has a will of her own. That will may have been born from Rovall's influence, but it isn't certainly all of his will.

It is time to return the power of will you entrusted to me, Master.

She says "the power of will," not "all your will." Rovall gave her the power to develop her own will, and now she's using it to save him. It's a metaphor, not a literal statement that she possesses his entire will. This is no different from our main pawn developing a will of their own.

As for Dragonplague, do you understand how easy it is to reach the end of the game? Once you enter the Unmoored World, your pawn remains permanently dragon-plagued until you start NG+ whether you play the game or not. It only takes one player getting to unmoored world. Plenty of people had early access, also from my recollection, there were some official Capcom pawns with dragon plague early on and you can probably find datamined evidence by looking through older threads.

Fodspeed

It gives you buffs?

Fodspeed

Satanachia is a fallen Seneschal, or Seneschals, so losing to him turns you into a Fallen Dragon. The same thing happened to the Arisen Rovell of Eir's world. Whereas Rovell of our Norgan world sealed Satan with his soul. So the Fallen Dragon we're fighting in the game is Eir's actual Arisen from her world.

Fodspeed

I mean, you can end it by giving your subjective criticism of the song?

Fodspeed

Also the best romance, yeah I said it.

Fodspeed

First of all, it's not garbage. Second of all, what's your problem, dude? It's not like they used some Gen Z TikTok song.

Fodspeed

Y'all hate nazeem because you can't be him or with him.

Fodspeed

Not much of a leap. They're all alive in the Unmoored World, so the Red Dragon's death didn't affect them, but they aren't shown in the final credit scene after the Pathfinder is dead. However dragonforged's empty cave is shown if he is dead during the playthrough, so it's not like they just forgot about them. It seems intentional.

Unless they're your highest-affinity character, which, as I said above, seems like an oversight. But you can also argue that because they're important to the Arisen, the Arisen kept them alive, as your pawn said, "Will is Power, 'tis can shape the world to one's desire." They can reshape the world to their will.

Also, at least the Drunk Arisen doesn't share the same dragon as us. He said his dragon is likely long gone to a different world. So it's also possible that they all have different dragons, but that seems less likely.

Fodspeed

I think, the True Dragon in DD2 is the Pathfinder. When we kill him, freeing the world from the cycle and the Brine, we don't see any former Arisens in the post-credit scenes except the Rivage Elder. This suggests that the previous Arisens died with the Pathfinder. Remember, the Pathfinder said, "Great Will gave Dragon the role of protector." And pathfinder is the big dragon at the end. (Except if one of previous arisen were your highest affinity characters like elf lady, they can show up at the end, which I honestly think is just oversight or our arisens will kept them alive lol)

As for the Rivage Elder, he's likely our character from a timeline where we lost in the Unmoored World and his world was destroyed. His own Pathfinder is likely still alive, so our Pathfinder's death wouldn't affect him. He presumably took Rothias's Godsbane in his own world, which pretty much means being Seneschal and thus immortal at that point. Which is the case for our arisen, as we are still alive and well in NG+ world which our pawns acknowledge.

Fodspeed

Eir literally received Rovall's will, leaving him with none

The heart she's destroying is literally Rovall's will. We spent the whole arc trying to get his will back, Rovall is left with his own will, just like us. That's her own will born out of Rovall's will.

Like they explained in the base game. I can't think of reason why that same thing would be different in dlc.

Also the unmoored world is not the only way to get dragonsplague

It is the only real way to get Dragon's Plague. You either get it from a pawn who has been to the Unmoored World or get it during the Unmoored World.

Some players reported that drakes could also infect pawns, but that was proven wrong. They were confusing drakes controlling pawns with Dragon's Plague.

Fodspeed

Yeah death is a former arisen who went mad from killing people until he become personification of death himself. Satan is fallen seneschal and possibly your player character from dd1.
