What’s the current trade value of a verbal agreement to buy a ticket on the Titanic?
FoldableHuman
What new wave of derangement has swept through the Internet that multiple people in the past two days have been replying to years old posts about shadow banning insisting that fr fr on god it’s happening to them?
FoldableHuman
When was the last time in your research where a company issued an acknowledgement that warrants were expiring in less than two weeks, but then surprise extended?
Because I’m not saying an extension would get you sued, I’m saying issuing a press release that a reasonable person would read as “warrants will expire in ten days, behave accordingly” and then extending them somewhere within the now four remaining days before expiration is exactly the kind of “getting cute with the rules” bullshit that gets companies sued.
FoldableHuman
This is “there’s no rule that says a dog can’t play basketball” territory: technically the reminder is just a statement of intent at a point in time and that intent can change as the situation changes, but unless something truly extraordinary and external to the company happens you should have a pretty good idea if you’re going to extend or not by 10 days from expiration.
So saying “they’ll expire in ten days” and then extending five days later would be considered misleading, or at least that’s what the plaintiffs would argue when they sue you.
FoldableHuman
They would get sued. That’s what would happen.
Since in theory they could lower the strike to $0.001 if they wanted to, absolutely guaranteeing that every short sale is under water, you should ask yourself why you’ve never heard of a company “destroying shorts” by doing that.
FoldableHuman
Well the core, fatal flaw is that the company already said the warrants are going to expire, there’s no ambiguity here and pretending like there’s another reasonable outcome is willful stupidity.
The second flaw is that your whole “they’ll drive up GME to get people to exercise their warrants” is a nonsense fantasy, that’s not how anything works, you might as well be asking me to debate your prediction that Donald Trump will replace JD Vance with a leprechaun during the midterms.
FoldableHuman
Oh, now that someone’s challenging your bullshit they aren’t “the perfect trap”, it’s just “there might be some hope”?
What happened to your “golden opportunity”?
FoldableHuman
I love when Apes cite that, because in the interview Griffin is literally just describing price discovery: their math dorks pour over documents to figure out what they think a company’s value is and then buy/sell around that price target.
It’s only weird if you’ve adopted a “buy at any price, never sell, 💎🙏🚀🌕🦍” mentality.
FoldableHuman
Yes, that’s how kites work.

Also Silk Eaters. Spoiler in case you didn’t find him, but Styx will produce another silkeater every hour of play so there’s basically always one waiting if you’ve been stuck for a while.
You can find him at the bottom right of Sinner’s Road, or via a shortcut from Greymoor, behind a breakable wall in the very top right of the screen where Shakra was camped, between the bell and Craw Lake

Some broker dashboard in December will display them with a value of $0.0001 and it'll get posted as proof that they were secretly extended.

> Ryan Cohen would not just give up
Sure, that makes sense if you disregard all the times he’s given up.
FoldableHuman
There was some mild rebalancing of a few segments and the Act 1 economy but otherwise the game is functionally the same.
FoldableHuman
there's a whole mechanism in place that makes this unnecessary
This is like saying "why does my mechanic say I need to change my oil every 5000 miles when Honda has instructions for replacing the engine?"
FoldableHuman
Yeah, you can undeniably take some pretty wacky routes through Hallownest, but the side effect of that is that first time players can spend a lot of time wandering around without actually finding anything useful.
FoldableHuman
Yeah, was gonna say, this is just your average penny stock addict’s thought process. “It’s $0.00001 per share, so I can’t even lose that much”

> If I get shares somehow, great
You would get those shares by buying them for $32 each
FoldableHuman
give me one good reason for not extending
It’s expensive for very little upside and less efficient than an ATM offering.
FoldableHuman
That is damaging to say that they do
Only to the separatist agenda, calling their dog whistles what they are instead of bowing to some bad faith notion of decorum.
You can piss right off with your apologia, the nine are separatism.
FoldableHuman
The first nine questions only make sense in the context of leaving Canada or preparing to leave Canada or to set up lose/lose conflicts where the only path to success is leaving Canada.
So, no, it’s not “objectively untrue” that they’re about leaving Canada. They exist to build a narrative that people want what separatism offers but have been brainwashed against the brand. The nine are separatism.
FoldableHuman
Makes sense, and meshes well with the fact that warrants are kinda a weak fundraising instrument beyond providing a conceptual “finish line”
FoldableHuman
There’s an argument as to if they tried to frame a guilty man or if the level of scrutiny applied to the case simply revealed shoddy practices that were common.
Personally I think the level of massaged/planted evidence is over-stated compared sloppy work done by a lazy organization so high on its own power and perceived invulnerability that every case was like this under the hood.
FoldableHuman
Reasonably certain that “the warrants magically convert at $32” is the unspoken but dominant belief among apes.
They’re like penny stock people who need these four, five, six digit percent increases because a “mere” 100% increase doubling their $800 won’t actually fix their life in any substantial measure.
