This was done to deal with space and fund restrictions. I could have gotten those new shallow 15" that actually handle some power, but one costs the same amount as this entire system.

The sub is mounted facing the back wall. I wanted a single large sealed 15 to reach those super deep notes that I adore. I never said nothing else was upgraded, that wasn't the point. I've had other smaller subs. I knew what I wanted but I took forever deciding whether or not to remove the center seat to build the big box it deserves. Single cab full size 15 isn't normally possible
