Proud to say this hasn't even occurred to my two kids (10 and 12) . They know better than to even ask. The only time they have gotten outside the home access to devices is on planes (and even at home its during select times). My daughter has a phone now but it's so locked down she complains that its useless anyway....which is kind of perfect.
