"Niche tactic" are we fr

Frahames

Cars 2 is the best one

Frahames

Yes, but having an interest in the subject of philosophy is not a prerequisite to being correct, or suggesting/creating certain philosophies.

Frahames

Destroying the entirety of a group is not inherent to genocide. UN definitions state acts that seek to destroy a racial, religious, ethnic, etc. group, in whole or in part, are genocidal acts.

Frahames

Outside the dimensions of the basement

Frahames

No? The size of a planet, especially in fiction, is not a direct correlation to the gravity. Only thing we know about Viltrum is gravitational force.

Frahames

Value systems are not equivalent to religions.

Frahames

Yeah but it's not existence erasure. Matter still exists in a black hole, it just can't escape. It's also questionable to debate black holes information level destruction when there's not exactly 100% sound science around them.

Just stating that it violates ki manipulation doesn't make it true. Needs a warrant.

You are just stating the same thing over and over again without responding to my point. Goku has little control over God Ki at that point in the story. He is not intentionally controlling his God Ki in a focused way, leading to deadly consequences like the shockwaves. The reason Goku never makes the shockwaves again (except during ToP where he shakes the world of void) is because he controls the Ki lol

Frahames

Beerus, Zeno, doesn't matter. Still violates physics principles lol

Again, the shockwaves don't have to make sense. It's, by your definition, reality warping and doesn't have to follow laws of physics.

The matter in a black hole still exists lol. It's not existence erasure because it still exists.

Frahames

Wait, so the "reality bending" that results in destroying matter is plausible and understandable to you, but a shockwave that destroys the universe is not? Where is the threshold for things that don't follow the laws of physics but are still understandable?

Black holes don't erase matter lol, that's how black holes grow in size

Again, it's also the only instance of Goku exerting God Ki while having very little experience controlling it. The shockwave working the opposite of a normal shockwave can be explained by, like you said, minor reality bending.

Frahames

Good luck! Don't stress yourself out too much!

Frahames

You don't need to get all the questions right to get a 1600. You can get a small amount of module 2 questions wrong.

Frahames

Why are you willing to suspend your disbelief that the god of destruction can erase matter defying the laws of physics but you are not willing to suspend that disbelief that shockwaves travel through the space-time continuum and travel across the universe?

Frahames

It's also the only instance of Goku not controlling and directing his God Ki output. Just because it only happens once does not make it suddenly unreliable.

Frahames

Ok so Dragon Ball Super's universe shockwave feat is a form of reality warping where shockwaves that shake the universe exist.

Frahames

Crumbling omniverse alr crumbling, electron wins by default.

Frahames

The point is that the attack's energy just vanishes after impact because if it was IRL, it would have much greater consequences than shown. Like anytime anyone is hit by an attack that could destroy planets in DBZ, it should destroy the planet they are on because of conservation of energy. But it doesn't because physics doesn't apply,

A setting being fantastical is a reason physics won't apply. How else do you explain Beerus literally erasing matter? How else do you explain characters like the Flash running past the speed of light when physics dictates that as impossible?

Yes, physics dictates real stuff. But that is why this is fiction, not real life. Physics does not always have to apply, and powerscaling does not break down if physics does not apply. It just adapts to a different set of rules than physics. In fiction, the rules and physics are made up. Because it's fiction.

Frahames

I like how you just repeated your point and didn't actually respond to what I was saying.

A vast majority of pieces of fiction, like Dragon Ball, have an AP/DC distinction. This makes no sense at all when you consider physics because if an attack can have planetary AP, it should carry enough energy to have planetary DC, but in a lot of cases, it doesn't.

Other blatant violations of the laws of physics:

Goku can teleport and instantly displace the air of the place he was occupying or else he'd explode.

Beerus erases things with no trace

Fictional characters that run past the speed of light

Destroying universes

Fiction does not need to follow the laws of physics. We can conceive of and understand impossible things because they are not real.

Frahames

Almost every piece of high-scaling media has an AP and DC distinction, and that most definitely does not follow the laws of physics.

Frahames

TBF, nothing measures objective quality. Only objective thing that it can measure is a movie's success.

Frahames

Either they found something that incriminates them or one of their lobbyists, or they were stupid enough to make a song and dance about it and it blew up way more than they thought it would. Can't imagine it would be the latter since I don't think Republicans are that stupid. Or maybe they are idk.

Frahames

Idk why you're limiting it to fashion. Some women wear it because it's their religion. Yes, many women are forcefully coerced into wearing it. But that doesn't mean banning wearing it is the solution since not all women are coerced into wearing it.

People defend other forms of self/religious-expression through clothing all the time. The only reason the hijab is a hot topic of debate is because more people are converting to Islam or Muslim people are moving to more western areas of the world.

Frahames

Yeah, but it is their choice. If they were coerced into wearing it, it's a different issue?

Frahames

???? no its fine lol

Frahames

ts gotta be ragebait
