The law and lease are not the same thing and are not highly related eg. Your landlord could ban all consumption of thc on his premises even though weed is legal, and he would be able to evict your for eating brownies (ie leases can be much stricter than the law and still be legal).

Generally most leases ban smoking to limit damage/wear and tear on the building. Vaping leaves behind minimal residue (especially compared to smoking) and is less noticeable, however your landlord might be able to argue that it’s ‘smoking’ and successfully evict you

Correct, it is a hybrid, but if you look at the teardown I linked, air is traveling over the heating elements, which is what I was describing.

1-2 people is easy to share, with more people it becomes a tad difficult, however you can just get another glass stem, which solves the sharing problem.

nope, its close to the bottom end of 'good' desktops, def not bad, but for ~$20 more I would rather a da buddha or e-nano. Granted they cant do everything the EQ can, but what they can do, they do better than the EQ.

I mean if you want an electric convection vape, that's the trade off you have to make. If you dont have airflow over the actual heating element then the only other way to heat the material is through conduction. For numerous reasons (taste and efficiency) this is viewed as a less desirable heating method.

I would (and have) used a butane dry herb vape like a vapor genie or lotus for those non-meth powders (I used the VG glass sherlock for my first dmt trip). Electric ones imo dont extract fast enough for a nice hit of dmt, unless its a desktop, whereas butane vapes hit like a truck right then and there.

I would stay away from the vapcaps as they are designed to click at a certain temp and for multiple hits which isnt great for DMT. Similarly I wouldnt get a stickybrick as there isnt an easy way to clean the wood vapor path.

but yeah, I own a lotus (for weed and dmt) and as mentioned have used a glass sherlock vapor genie for dmt. Def good options if you have practice and a good butane torch

also just tell us what you are trying to vape (clearly dmt), its less sketch than saying 'powders' and will prob get you better responses

I own one, the plastic gets warm, but no where near warm enough to off gas, not sure what you mean by exposed heater as it is def clearly enclosed

its an okayish entry level vape, your experience (decent but not better than smoking) is somewhat typical. I would look at the arizer argo given your requirements

da buddha then. I have both, love them equally but if you have no cares for your consumption then the buddha is the winner for the much larger chamber

The pax3 isn’t a bad vape in itself, the problem is there are better vapes in the same price point (or lower)

I would look at a log vape like an e-nano. They are great for keep consumption down (you can put literally .01 of a gram in) yet pack a major punch. Plus with the right stem they will drop right into your 14 or 18mm bong

Imo you should check r/entexchange and try to get 2 of them for the price of one xD. seriously I saw a da Buddha on there for 40 and I see nanos going for 100-140 (depending on accessories) so it’s def doable

Just get a piece of glass you like and use it dry. Cooler vapor means deeper hits, so you will get more cannabinoids per hit, not to mention being able to go to a higher temp while retaining vapor quality (taste not so much, but def not a hot harsh hit)
