What is the benefit for them to say it's vibe coded in the first place? If they wanted good press, take the win and boast about the performance gains, not that it was vibe coded.

Like I said, I'm not totally against AI development, but it doesn't look great for a company with many talented developers to prop up "vibe coded" software because programming is difficult.

I think it really depends on the games you play. I see many people online complain about quick resume but it could be a vocal minority? I rarely have issues with quick resume, it reliably gets me back into games fast. Only issue I remember having is with Fallout 3, where quick resume failed and I had to do the prologue again since I hadn't triggered any autosave for hours

Edit: I checked. My copy of Forza Horizon 4 still cannot be claimed digitally. I'm based in the UK. Some people are reporting it's regional.

I found Steam Remote Play to be hit or miss. I have a 32:9 monitor, which I think causes issues when streaming to a 16:9 tv for some reason. Never could get it to work consistently. I don't use moonlight. If Valve want to build a good ecosystem, remote play needs to be better in my opinion.

I had to download GTA Online (Series X|S) to access the campaign (X|S) when I claimed my Xbox One copy. Can you play the campaign on the GTA Online app?

Sadly not :( the claiming process is automatic, as in you don't select what to claim, you just press claim and Microsoft gives you the correct licence, which in this case is only the Xbox One copy. Maybe that will change? I know there's been some confusion with discs claiming wrong versions of games (Halo Infinite). But logically this seems correct to my eye.

That's fair. However, I think it's crazy that delisted first-party titles like the Forza games do not work. Of course these titles were likely going to be desirable to people like myself who never purchased the game digitally for whatever reason.

I don't know where this information has come from, but none of my Forza discs work at all. People keep saying they are working but no one is providing proof that they were able to register the game with disc to digital. Someone really needs to provide a video showing the claim process for their Forza Horizon 3 copy working, with the disc to digital icon on the game card, because I can't seem to find anyone doing that anywhere. That would clear things up that this for now is likely a false report.

I think the launch Xbox one controller has pretty bad bumpers from memory, really glad they redesigned those. Mine were always so stiff

I have a soft spot for the 360 controller, since I grew up with it. But the series controller is just undeniably the best Xbox controller

I'd hold off buying it as long as you can. I think it's a pretty decent controller overall, dpad sucks though. However, the sticks are a league over any other controller I've used, not in terms of drift, but in feel. They are so smooth and it's ruined every other controller for me, hence wishing I'd never gotten it in the first place.

Yeah looks like background game recording causes the issue. Now that I've turned it off for the Ubisoft games, they are all opening as expected. Thanks for letting me know how to workaround this issue :D I hope Valve can fix this soon, I use the record a clip feature a lot
