For me, half of the fun of flying is eating the junky food along the way. Lean into it and enjoy that greasy, overpriced breakfast sandwich that isn't even nearly as good as the same sandwich you would get outside of the airport.
To answer your question though, yes, you could eat those TJs frozen frittatas without cooking them. I've done it with their quiches. It's possible, it just isn't all that satisfying. I'd view it as just eating calories without enjoyment to get a little bit of energy.

Once upon a time I thought Boursin was great. The last time I had it, I too was unimpressed. I could still see tossing it into mashed potatoes or macaroni and cheese, or some dips that call for cream cheese... something where it isn't the primary/featured ingredient. I could even see a Boursin-style being good in an omelette if it were made with fresh herbs and garlic. But, it's not a fancy high-end ingredient as is.

Note: this 'lacy swiss' cheese (Emmi brand) doesn't melt well, but the american cheese with the sodium citrate/phosphate helps a bit. Either way, it's pretty tasty and makes for a nice combination. Not even close to a decent gruyere or comte though.

I agree that the city in general, particularly that area, would benefit from some bodega-style shops. There are a few good, quick eats in chinatown at reasonable prices and places like Al's are gems. Boston's quick-eats scene definitely doesn't compare to NYC, even adjusted for size.

Boston still closes early in most parts. There are a few open-all-night spots but it very much depends on where you are and how much time you want to spend traveling. But yea, South Street Diner or some of the chains in the outer-lying parts of the city are your best bet. Nearly all places are done by 1-2am at the latest in Boston proper. Most (pretty much all) are closed much earlier.

We haven't had a winter like this in a while. The administration had a bit of a learning curve. Glad to see that they are actually doing some snow removal in this part of town. The last snowstorm cleanup wasn't exactly well-executed.

Haven't had these in a long time but I remember enjoying them. They used to carry these in the deli section of grocery stores in the area that I lived in. My go-to when I make steamed hot dogs is Kayem Old Tyme Natural Casing pork and beef dogs. I think Kayem owns Deutschmacher now and now I want to buy some to compare.

Is it intended to be eaten with a fork and a knife? Looks like a delicious and fun experience by the way.

Serious question? What's an egg to omelette ratio? Assuming that's referring to something like a two-egg omelette vs. a three-egg omelette vs a four-egg omelette and so on until you get to massive omelette size... but just curious.

~4-5 if the toast is dry. ~5-6 if there is a decent amount of butter lurking in between those slices of toast. Otherwise, looks a bit dry. I'd eat that though with a smile on my face.

I've tried both the chicken and now the beef. They're decent for a quick snack from the freezer if you don't have your expectations set too high. Each mini taco weighs about an ounce and, if I were to estimate, I'd say they are roughly 40 percent filling and 60 percent tortilla. They are pretty mildly spiced so most people are probably going to want something to add some flavor. I might pick them up from time to time but would probably get the chicken over the beef.

Dice it up and make chili.
