To be fair, me and my partner (who is also a director) pay ourselves more than £12.570 a year, nearly double, then we take the maximum allowed in dividends.

I still pay VAT, 25% Co Orp tax, employees tax / NI, and all the other costs people forget about, with the stress of running a business and taking all the risk.

My tax from my company alone pays more than most people a year in tax, save me the crap.

The bird thing is one of them where there is truth to it, but they completely changed it for the show, to make it look worse.

It wasn't done how it was portrayed in the show, and despite Lizzy of course being upset about it, she knew it had to be done.

I can go on with some other things if you like, Lizzy and her step mother had a fine relationship for the most part, it was only at the end when she really did not like her, same with her dad, people who know them said they had a very strong Father and Daughter relationship.

Lizzy was not lesbian or close to the maid at all, infact Lizzy was the only one who constantly called the maid "Maggie" they all did, but Lizzy simply refused to use her real name at all.

The other rich lady who was murdered, her name was actually Bertha Manchester, but she was murdered with an axe 10 months after the Bordens, whilst Lizzy was locked up, this actually put some doubt into the Jurors at the trial, hearing about another axe murder, whilst Lizzy was locked up.

Andrew Borden was a coffin and furniture maker, the part about chopping off the legs is absolutely nonsense, and this was also early in his career, when he was very wealthy he was a property owner and a bank owner.

Going through the exact same thing currently, but our landlord also threw in a "landlords gift" to pay the deposit.

We were renting, and originally planned to stay here for another 2/3 years, however this year the Landlord had to sell the property and offered it to us, as I said with the deposit as the gift.

No one asked me to watch, but when a show launches called “Lizzy Borden” I expect it to be about Lizzy Borden, this show is a fan fiction bullshit story that uses the name.

And you’re correct, a show does not need to be exactly like real life, but when you’re using that name and writing a story about that name, it has to be a little true or close to the story for fucks sake, is that hard for you to understand? What a retarded comment.

When in reality her parents weren’t bad people at all, the step mother in particular is known to be a lovely kind women, who apart from the last 2 months of her life, had a great relationship with Lizzy. However, Netflix shows her as a crazy bird killing maniac, and Lizzy and the maid as lesbian lovers, just completely made up bullshit.

Very simple.

It’s like me making a show called Hitler and writing the story of him being a lovely family man who is misunderstood. It’s not close to reality, so don’t make it a fucking show, very simple.

There was another murder as I said, but that was 10 months after and they got the killer.

That was 10 months after the Bordens murder.

The killer was also caught and we know why it happened.

So, once again, it was absolutely incorrect. And absolutely nothing to do with Lizzy or the Bordens.

Lizzy did not hate her mother, there was tension towards the end, before she was murdered, and she did call her miss Borden, but she was not abusive, they did not have a bad relationship at all.

Same with her father, from actual reports of people who know the family, her father and her had a solid relationship, he was known to be the tightest man ever for his wealth, yet he broke that rule for Lizzy and would often let her go to town and spend and put things on his tab.

People say the motive was money, in the days before their deaths Andrew had bought Abbeys sister a house and this caused tension in the family as the girls were adamant they had been wronged and should also get property, Andrew listened to them and bought them a house, which they ended up living in after the murders.

The other rich women in the series was murdered 10 months after the Bordens murder, not before, there had also been an axe murder just before the Bordens murder also, although the murder after the Bordens was unrelated and they caught the killer and that was over money.

The maid and Lizzy didn’t have a close relationship, infact Lizzy was the one who constantly refused to call her by her actual name and the maids testimony actually made life difficult for Lizzy in court, especially her saying Lizzy was definitely upstairs during the time Abbey died because she could hear her laughing.

The show is a complete mess, literally the worst thing Netflix has ever released regarding a “true crime” story.

Once you do learn and read about Lizzy your view on the show will change.

The only thing in that show that is remotely close to being true is that 2 people were killed with an axe.

Everything else is absolutely fucking nonsense, it’s by far the worst show trying to relate to real life Netflix has ever done.

It’s not even based on loose fiction, it’s just complete and utter bollocks.

I’ve done a lot of reading into Borden and many other crimes, Borden is one of the most fascinating ones, in my opinion there is no way she could have done it, but also, there is no way anyone else could have done it. It’s really fucking mental.

But there’s just no way she did it, the theories that she was naked, or changed clothes etc and cleaned up is just nonsense, this was in the 1800s. Do you know how long it took someone to “run a bath” and get dressed in them clothes, it’s impossible.

She was seen wearing the clothes before the murders that she still had on after the murders, her hair completely straight and dry, just absolutely impossible for them times with the murder “she committed”

It’s well made if it’s a fiction story with a completely different name.

In terms of being “Lizzy Borden” it might be the worse thing Netflix has ever done, I’ve finished it, and the only thing right is 2 people were murdered with axes.

Everything else is so horribly incorrect it’s a fucking joke. I’m surprised they were even allowed to call this Lizzy Borden. If you have any interest in the case at all, or want to know if she did it or not, do not base a single thing on this absolutely disgraceful show.
