DWB doesn't take PAs yet :(

No worries friend.
This all started when my advisor told me to rethink this plan. So I came here to seek more opinions. I have received comments here (as seen) and many more private messages pushing me to rethink this plan.
It's been a weird day having to figure out how to explain this my fiancée but everyone makes really good points it just wouldn't be a good move for me
FutureFlyDoc
That's pretty intense. But no we only talked about it after I got accepted
FutureFlyDoc
I appreciate the honesty and straight answer.
I may have to head over to r/relationship_advice for answers on how tell my fiance all this
FutureFlyDoc
Haha sorry for typo. Wrote this up in a hurry. Thanks for your opinion!

This Reader guy sounds awesome. Does he have his own comic or just a part of the Inhuman comics? I would read about him
FutureFlyDoc
Red Hulk, and Captain America with Mjolnir. I want both of this in Infinity Wars

Started hospice work the summer after freshman year. It helped that I spent every summer but one (for study abroad) on campus doing neurology research.
Tried to do at least 10 a week during school, and maybe 20-30 a week in summer!

I'm really sorry for your situation and I hope things improve! It's ok to vent about something like this! Maybe you can meet with your own counselor? Or maybe try a couples counseling thing?
I feel like a situation like this won't go away and you are most definitely allowed to seek help
FutureFlyDoc
Very cool idea! I hope the winner uses my money for Subway!

All is not lost. I had a 3.3 and got into my #1 program. Granted it was after being on wait list. But my point is there is always hope. In they end you need to get as high a GPA as you can, but there's always a chance

I can't stress this comments first post enough. Become the guy that people text "hey what's going on?"
Make things happen. And not even just at night. Invite people to board games, make a home cook meal.
You can even start small. Invite friends, then get their friends, and more. Slowly build it up. Eventually you will be that guy that people always text when things happen

I went through about 20 hours of training over a week at the hospice center. After that I was good to go and got to work. And some programs in my area offer the same work for paid positions (usually to stay overnight)

I worked in hospice as an aide. Basically went to hospice patients homes and took care of them. Socialized, fed, bathed, and looked out for em.

We try to but it's hard. Three adults in three cities. Relatively close, but still nothing like the old days when we all lived at home and random N64 smash bro battles would break out

I am forgetful of the names. We have two expansions and I believe on of them is hinterlands!
Whatever the one is with the -1 victory points we also have that.

My brothers and I are getting together and playing board game mania!
Settlers of Catan, King of Tokyo, carcassan, and lots of Dominion :)
Would be nice to provide the food for once. I'm the only one without a job so I can never provide much on game nights :/

I know everyone has their own theory on it and we will never know the truth. But I went through serial three times. The first time just for it and to get the info because it was so good.
Second time with a completely open mind and no leaning one way or the other.
Third time I went in thinking that Adnon and Jay killed Hay together. Jay was able to get out of it by making his part seem smaller and throwing adnon under the bus "You're Pathetic"
IDK maybe someday a new podcast or the amnesty people will shed new light. But I just can't look at it any other way now.

While this is interesting; keep in mind they aren't necessarily meaningful.
I've had many many people from advisors, to PAs to physicians tell me the rankings of PA programs aren't really worth much. If it's accredited and you pass your PANCE then you will get your first job and then it's up to your own skill.

I still remember watching Forever Red on the 10th anniversary during the Wildforce season. So many memories and I feel I must have this!
FutureFlyDoc
I don't know if that would really work. Sounds more like clerical. I really recommend hospice. Always looking for help, interact with people and you learn so much, and if you don't mind it you can sign up for overnights to get even more hours for not as much work (cause people be sleeping)

I've heard of some odd dlc, and while I do hate what the practice has become, I do understand that game companies just see the chance for more money.
This is the first dlc idea that has made me actually kind of mad (I don't even play this game!)
But while some games do it pretty bad there's still plenty of wonderful games out there that don't do micro dlc like this, make it kind of useless stuff that's just for fun, or have it part of a larger expansion that is sometimes worth it for a game (blood dragon, dragonborn)
EDIT: Apparently this is kind of a joke dlc and/or a way to get help the esrb rating in order to make the game more accessible. But appreciate the info!

Agreed. I loved an idea my brother told me when we were talking about what could have saved the prequels, and while there was just too many small, medium, and large things that added up, darth maul was always something that stuck.
He said it would have helped if darth maul had stuck around all three films and had been obi WANs personal adversary. Maybe darth maul replaced duukus role in 2, then also replace grievous in 3. This way we have an antagonist that is consistent, we learn more about, and the stakes get higher every time.
I think the YouTube video "how to make episode 1 good" or something gave the same idea
That's what I'm getting a lot of advice on. Many other private messages have pointed out that in those first few years (from their experience) it is really important to have that supervision since we don't have residencies.
