Saving HUMAN BEINGS is not thoughtless "virtue signalling".

Let me 'splain you

person A: plz save my dog @ 1237 Gray Lane

person B: ok!

(30min later)

person B:hello 911? I am stuck, send help!

now 911 has to send 2 guys and a 1 boat to send person B, who was going to save a dog.

so now 3 people and 1 boat have been spent trying to save a dog at 1237 Gray lane, which may or may not even be there.

bonus points : person B may die trying to save the DOG, the rescue crew might die trying to save person B, OR someone else who could have been saved might die because resources were being wasted on 1 dog.

You do not understand what virtue signalling is.

And frankly, you have no idea what you're talking about. Nor do any of the people who upvoted you.

The refs tells Floyd to stop turning around.

Both things can be true.

  • conor took his back

  • floyd gave him his back

G3TF00KD

i havent been here but i do get that vibe pretty heavy as well.

they seem to "love to hate" them

G3TF00KD

Not one conor fan has an ounce of originality in them.

ya that seems balanced.

G3TF00KD

I like Nate a lot and hope he continues to do his thing. Much respect for that beast mode motherfucker.

Born & raised in Hou, I moved left for this exact reason. Still in Tx but this hurricane was little more than 2 days of rain for me. Moving is an option for some people.

G3TF00KD

forget about the pets and belongings. we're talking about human survival here.

G3TF00KD

gunna get bit then have to go to the ER, clogging up emergency resources. think it though folks.

G3TF00KD

pets are an absolute last priority in a life or death situation for thousands of humans

this does not deserve the title the OP has used. life sucks and is not fair.

G3TF00KD

way to try to score cheap political points

screw this guy

i heard they calling for evac now that the storm has hit and everything is flooded. great thinking yall.

G3TF00KD

ya i know a place like this. they are on the edge of going out of business. it's not all sunshine and blowjobs folks.

i would rather tip heavy good workers and tip minimum shitty workers.

G3TF00KD

this is the exact case. yoga pants dont want to mix with riff raff. rip ho-foods.

G3TF00KD

that's the opposite of perspective. apples and movies.

G3TF00KD

No one shops at whole foods to save money.

G3TF00KD

Whole Foods / Amazon - walmart, but fancier(?)

G3TF00KD

Why cant they smell their owner?

G3TF00KD

Aaaaaaaaaaacutally I was talking about the massive rationing mentioned here.

G3TF00KD

whole foods , we had a good run. about to become a fancy walmart.

i dont go to WF for the prices , i go because they price out low class people i dont want to be around - to be frank. i want a nice shopping experience.

same reason some bars sell shit beer for $5. keep the riff raff away.

G3TF00KD

It's not even about that. Im talking about rationing. Now a days if peoples iphone apps don't download in 30 seconds they shit their pants.

  • Tires were the first item to be rationed by the OPA, which ordered the temporary end of sales

  • Throughout the war, rationing of gasoline was motivated by a desire to conserve rubber as much as by a desire to conserve gasoline.

  • The War Production Board (WPB) ordered the temporary end of all civilian automobile sales

  • Ration boards grew in size as they began evaluating automobile sales in February, typewriters in March, and bicycles in May.

  • As of 1 March 1942, dog food could no longer be sold in tin cans, and manufacturers switched to dehydrated versions. As of 1 April 1942, anyone wishing to purchase a new toothpaste tube, then made from metal, had to turn in an empty one.[3]:129–130 By June 1942 companies also stopped manufacturing metal office furniture, radios, phonographs, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, and sewing machines for civilians.

people have no idea what national sacrifice is now.

G3TF00KD

The early 1900s generation(s) sacrificed on a level unheard of today. But you are correct.

Jasc PaintShop Pro

G3TF00KD

wow. worst job ever.

G3TF00KD

the medical center ;)

G3TF00KD

None very likely. They aren't new and regulations are pretty strict, to say the least.

I miss living outside the med center. A nice mix of fancy and totally sketchy.
