I think it kind of balances itself out though as the rarity of the loot (the number by the prefix/suffix) scales with NPC level at a specific location. Constant effect items I THINK are more common at rarity 3, which would be more likely to spawn in an area where enemies are around level 18. For OP, I’m pretty sure I know what dungeon they got this loot from (Ashurbalipal) and this pauldron is from a level 50 NPC, so any drop from him is very likely to be rarity 5 because it is going to be a really hard encounter. IMO the real OP part of the mod is the strength of the cast on use items, which you can get really easily. I’ve had items that I’ve gotten at level 1 just from random containers in towns or low level dungeons that give you a really good levitation enchant, items that can heal 40 health in like 5 seconds, an item that can potentially damage health for 140 points over 30 seconds. A lot of low level items the mod adds make the early game incredibly easy.

What really pisses me off is how they don’t try to make the base game’s development progression fit with their mod, like why tf are you making religions less interesting when CK3 just dropped the religion update lmao. Other total conversion mods, like ATE, will at least try and do something cool with new base game stuff but EK2’s team is just clueless lol

IMO the importance of walking is a massive reason why people struggle to get into Morrowind today. As other people said, dice roll combat is a very, very early game problem that solves itself quickly, but making walking make sense from a resource standpoint is something that doesn’t get solved until probably several hours into a playthrough.

Like I don’t want to sound too zoomer-brained, but walking around the world gets old very fast, and it’s genuinely perplexing that they made running (which is already pretty slow to begin with) cost so much fatigue when fatigue is the most important resource in the game. It just kinda takes me out of the setting in a weird way, because I found myself just using the auto move key to get around more and zoning out while my PC lurched slowly to wherever they had to go. I hate it so much that I’ve added a mod to make it so that running doesn’t drain fatigue, it’s such a massive QoL improvement and doesn’t feel too OP bc realistically the only benefit I get is that I don’t have to wait before every single encounter if I want go in at 100%

I’d probably be willing to change up some evos for the week if they’re easy to complete. I think this week’s switch made sense, Eiting noticeably improved the squad and it took maybe 20 minutes of grinding to complete him, and the switch back to Vasquez took legit like 4 drafts. Idk if chaining evos just for a week of fatal makes too much sense at this point, but I’m def down for more creative teams while evos are still pretty quick to do.
