The sensor in the operator’s seat has a broken weight sensor, so it thinks there isn’t someone sitting in it when the bus isn’t in motion. This is to warn the bus operator to put the parking brake on (as if they leave their seat for any reason, the parking brake must be on)

bus stop is managed by NYC DOT

station sign is managed by MTA

something tells me, 2 agencies fucked up.

GamingWeekends

you have a different problem on why you have 172k points.

GamingWeekends

depends if the situation is bad where the paramedics have to lift the customer out or they can treat them on the spot or have them step off the train

GamingWeekends

So what this is telling me is that if im ready to cough my lungs out, I'm still expected to work in a food establishment???

The people ain't gonna be happy if i get them sick if I coughed on their food...

GamingWeekends

they used to, before QBNR….

GamingWeekends

it doesn’t necessarily have to be an R62A.

Any train starting at any point must have scheduled service to there at the time of departure.

So, you can never have a “D” train starting at Bay Ridge-95 St unless in a GO, so it will be tracked as an “R” train when in reality, it’s an D train

Seems like it did get damaged if it’s constantly not reading on OMNY readers. Unfortunately, you cannot replace these or get any value out of them, similar to how old MetroCard 1 trip/2 trip passes worked when several places such as hospitals gave those out.

If it were a black plastic OMNY, you can transfer the balance onto a new card

GamingWeekends

well, they don’t know how bad the situation is for medical help until like 10-15 mins later when either EMS or a supervisor arrives on scene to help

GamingWeekends

I think they are sending you to the rear of the train so they can move that rear section to the platform or have an easier time evacuating you from the train?

But also, welcome to the world, where some people don't know how to act right or lack complete common sense.

This is: Rector Street

Transfer is available to the A train to Far Rockaway via JFK Airport. Transfer to the Q53 Select Bus Service

GamingWeekends

usually it should also say super express

GamingWeekends

it has a stage that also says SUPER EXPRESS

or you can ask if you’re not so sure

GamingWeekends

but i want my buses fast

that’s why we voted for mamdani

GamingWeekends

i don’t have something to give but you can still get a transfer, which is a metrocard

GamingWeekends

You can go to a local retailer like CVS, Walgreens, 7-Eleven to refill your OMNY card as well

GamingWeekends

it’s prob to make them only use 1 track each, which is easier to manage than having them share tracks

GamingWeekends

it’s easier to manage trains when they all are in sequence than all being out of sequence

GamingWeekends

because NYC and Chicago aren’t the same thing…

NYC has a way more complicated fare structure than Chicago as there are multiple criteria where you can get a second transfer, or even not get a transfer

GamingWeekends

Working with autistic people? I don’t think so if you’re trash talking a person you are calling “autistic” on a bus and insulting them.

Welcome to the NYC Bus, where everyone feels like they’re entitled to everything…

GamingWeekends

and you jinxed it.

GamingWeekends

haha the bunch of orange seats there that you can get for whatever dollar value they are selling for

GamingWeekends

Google Maps shows static data with it as well, while BusTime doesn’t

MTA app does a mix of static and real time, displaying the real time data when it’s available and static when unavailable

Same with transit, but if the schedule suddenly changes next day, not every app is going to catch that and display incorrect schedule info for that day(s)

GamingWeekends

fun fact:

they all use the same source to get real time bus data…

except transit, which a user may use their phone as a GPS for that bus in addition to the real time bus data provided by the MTA

GamingWeekends

this was also the 2000s era of technology
