Ah yes. Nothing says "Proud to be a woman" like having 3 out of 4 song writers be men and literal dick imagery on stage.

!setflair The Netherlands 2022

While I like your animation, and kudos to you for having been able to make it your job, I find it hard seeing your Instagram where this video is posted alongside animations that say for example #istandwithisrael. I do not think messages like this reflect the majority of the people in the Taskmaster community.

Congratulations on your success, but I hope that Taskmaster with it's message of empathy and inclusion will help you understand that saying that you stand with Israel is equal to saying that you stand for genocide, and that your love for Taskmaster will give you the tools you need to come around and see the conflict from a humanist view.

Am I the only one who experiences falling out of love with Eurovision? I've followed it religiously since 2003, when I was 11. At this point the Israeli participation is ruining so much of what I love about it, particularly the way they're making the show worse with the muted audience response to the songs and the results (not to mention the canned applause and cheers). And the whole excitement of the televote is killed off, the only excitement now is whether or not the jury favourite will best them or not.

RIP to the Eurovision I have known and loved.

Not to put fuel over the fire, but the fact that EBU is resting behind the Swedish police opening up a case doesn't hold water at all - like a good policing agency they will open up a case and investigate any claim that is reported. If some contestants had reported a certain delegation and it's members for threats and discrimination it would also have opened up a case. Would that have been enough for EBU to disqualify them? Almost certainly not, so they shouldn't mention that as a justification to DQ Joost either.

Ozmartian is a lovely YouTube channel and it has such a great community page!

"Badness 0 (Apostrophe's version)" (22:15) by Tom 7 is the most impressive video essay I've seen in a while. It does this thing I'm always super impressed by, which is to say provide a very well researched essay and keeping my interest despite my knowledge of the subject being an absolute zero.

It's certainly hard to explain what it is about, but it touches on machine learning input suggestions, perfectionism in design and computer science and liquid moments of inertia. You might, like me, have 75% of the content shoot so far above your head but you'll still be happy you were in for the ride.

First and foremost, Swedish tabloid is getting worse every year and isn't worth using as toilet paper. It's all reactionary and trying to gain clicks through provocation, so I'd never put anything into their words in the first place.

Secondly, the attempt to be tongue-in-cheek (?) by Expressen (the absolute worst when it comes to the tabloids), calling Finland the "former eastern part of the state" is poor taste even when they think they are being funny.

But I haven't seen anything defamatory or outright vicious like what you suggest Aftonbladet have written. I've seen others say this as well but no one has shown the source of these claims, and I see a potentially dangerous situation here. There are plenty of outside interest in further dividing our countries and using our long historical relationship as a means to do so. At best it is memes but at worst it could also be a hostile attempt to spread disinformation.

In a competition such as Eurovision or the Hockey world cup or whatever, some sibling rivalry is to be expected but please know that as a people, at least us in younger generation, have nothing but love and admiration for the Finnish people, culture and language. And now we've also got some jealousy for your Eurovision spirit and having such success sending something so singularly interesting and recieving so much public support!
