Vegas feels a lot like a BFV map which I'm thoroughly enjoying.

Bait used to be believable

I feel it's much worse when you're in a small town. I had to drive 10 minutes into town, and then if I wanted to do literally anything fun it was 40 minutes to the nearest city. I now live in a decently sized city and I basically walk or bike anywhere that I can go to in 30 minutes (which is a lot of the area) if I need to go further I drive and it's usually less than 10 minutes. That change itself is massive.

Maybe he'd give extra yields to potatoe

I was saving for this, but it really sucks how underwhelming the sparkling is on non prismana.

Sometimes people don't have a connection to all of their ancestry in anyway. I'm ethnically Sicilian 50%, African American 25%, and Ukrainian 25%. My mother's sid was very black (she's the mixed one) and my father side was very Italian American (not to be confused with Italian) I know those two cultures very well and consider them my cultures. As for Ukrainian I wasn't very involved with that side of the family and it's all foreign to me. So if I'm asked in Black and Italian simply because those cultures are familiar to me.

The affinity system in Beyond Earth is my all time favorite civ mechanic as well as the personality traits and agreements.

I just wish I could've named the rivers. But this also makes me incredibly excited to name the planets in earthrise.

Also there is no state income tax

Not at all it's significantly more affordable than Seattle. While compared to the rest of the country it's still expensive you can live easily on a teacher's pay here without doing additional summer work.

Tacoma Washington,
We have a decent public education setting. It's a very diverse city. Nature is everywhere and it's not hard to find and Seattle is only a 30 minute drive if you want to see big city stuff. We have the glass museum, car museum, and the state history museum is here as well. In my opinion the food here is good and I've traveled quite a bit. Teachers are paid pretty good here compared to other us states.
I'm also Italian and African American btw.

Probably in my top 3 non core features of civ wish it was in every game as it makes politics seem much better.

That's probably true and then you can bump the us to Atomic when it releases.

The Navajo would be cool considering it's the largest tribe currently in the US

I remember when my dad was working two jobs and I barely saw him, when he had time alone he'd play civ 5 I'd go and sit and watch him play all the time and we'd talk about it. One day I did really well in school and came home with the best score on the big math test I've been studying for. As a gift he ended up getting me civ 5 for my little hand me down computer. It barely ran but we played every chance we could together. Civ 5 multiplayer with my dad is probably my most cherished memory.

if you're looking for that area I'd recommend harstine island, it's pretty nice lots of land and not much crime compared to other areas. also they have a community center to make friends if that's your thing, also it's in a beautiful area.
GasMask_Dog
hey I grew up there, specifically in Shelton. if you're moving to avoid drugs don't come at all, that's like the majority crime you'll find plus breaking and entering, in my 20 years of living there I personally was never a victim of a crime. The most well paying jobs you'll find is government, most people in the northern part of the county go to work at the ship yard in Bremerton. The more rural parts still have drug addicts but if you live outside of the city centers you often won't see them till you venture into town. All in all I enjoyed it nothing is close at all and you have to enjoy driving but it will always be home. Feel free to ask me more specific questions as I wrote this pretty quickly.

So I'll probably have to work my way towards paradise lost then. I'd like to eventually read a few books in that era do you have a suggestion of books that would serve as a good way to ease into that era?
The cooking one genuinely annoys me to no end. I love cooking, I do most of the cooking in my house for my girlfriend, sometimes I make something for potlucks and people will come up to me and tell me how good she cooks and how lucky I am, as if I'm not the one putting all the effort into it.
