Your horses shouldn't have to suffer and not be turned out in a full sized pasture because your neighbor neglects to properly care for or watch their animals. Wyze cams are pretty cheap and really dependable as long as they are connected to Wifi. If you can swing around $40 for a couple cams and $40 for an outdoor wifi extender, you can potentially cover your entire property for cheap. They even have various types of alerts you can set that will automatically begin recording the event as well as send an immediate notification of the event to your phone.

Also, make sure that you report to the local sheriff that your neighbors have actually threatened you and threatened to shoot your horses. Then look into local ordinance laws concerning dogs and fencing or leash law regulations so you are prepared for next time or you can even bring it to the attention of the local council; explain your issues with your neighbor's dogs regularly going after your horses and how they continue to fail to keep them fenced or on a leash and two have actually been killed when they went after your horses. I would also inquire whether these dogs have licensed tags and updated rabies shots because a lot of counties require any dog to have updated licenses and shot records every so many years.

If they can't or refuse to properly care for or train their dogs, they shouldn't own them.

Im so sorry for your loss ❤️

We've lost 3 ferrets so far due to age and illness (about to lose another due to cancer) and I have always allowed the others the opportunity to say their last goodbyes after death. Some have acknowledged the deceased and then went to grieve on their own and some have laid with the deceased until it was time for us to take them away but all of them have seem to experience those losses in their own way. The reality is, it is not only hard for us to say goodbye to our babies but it can be extremely hard for the ones who remain. They do grieve and sometimes the loss of their bonded members, changes them and its up to us to help them cope when such an enormous change happens.

I think the important thing to remember when we lose a pet/family member and we are still stewards of others, is that all of us feel the loss and they need comfort during that time, just as much as we do.

Hugs to you and yours. ❤️

Ok.. so.. no. I, personally, would be prefer to have the amenities and ability to properly handle my menstrual cycle and any discomfort that may occur alongside of, without having the constant pain or worry or lack of consideration for my own needs.

Im currently camping for the whole summer until Nov 1st - and periods are the fucking worst but they're 10x worse when living in a camper or rv or some middle of nowhere, dry ass, remote cabin.

If I was dead set on it, I would make sure he knows. I would even go into fucking detail and I would definitely plan more than needed; buying extra gallons of water, extra tampons, quick disolvable bathroom wipes, a gal of enzyme cleaner for the outhouse, extra underwear and pants/shorts, extra ibuprofen, body wipes, toilet paper etc and I would for sure be like... there needs to be at least some sort of warm water shower heater/shower/extra towel situation if he plans on insisting in any intimate situations.

In the US. We adopted 3 new ferrets who desperately needed new homes and vet care - we brought them home on August 25th. So far these are their weight gains but all of them still have a little mass to gain. Our two are more visually obviously doing well so...

I know people keep recommending Karo syrup which is good for an emergency hypoglycemia episode but giving Karo syrup regularly will actually make her blood sugar spike quickly and then drop just as fast. After the initial Karo syrup feeding, make sure she is eating a high protein meal about every 3 hours (using less than a pea size amount of honey as an additive as it keeps her glucose more stable for a bit longer than karo) and get her to the vet ASAP.

There is no shame in letting a vet know, "I think my ferret has insulinoma and I need her glucose checked immediately and a Prednisolone prescription and a recommended dose daily dose but I cannot afford a full panel or full check up right now."

I also recommend getting a reputable glucose monitor and a box of 21g safety lancets (about $25 on Amazon) so you can monitor their glucose weekly after after they begin medication.

Do not wait, do not miss an every 3 hour feeding until they see a vet or, unfortunately, they are more likely to go into a hypoglycemic episode, begin to experience seizures and pass away.

And if you cannot afford the care needed, immediately look for a ferret rescue near you and tell them its an emergency. There is no shame in loving your baby enough to find them the care needed, even when that care does not come from you. That is love.

I recently took in 3 ferrets who were so underweight that you could see their bones and by time we got one home from picking him up, he was in a full hypoglycemic episode and I truly thought he wasn't going to make it more than a few hours. Its only been 4 weeks but he's gone from 1.3lbs to 3.2lbs and from a glucose of 45 to 144 and is absolutely thriving now. His owners loved him but they just werent knowledgeable and they did the right thing and found him a new home that did.

So ignoring information that the main character was absolutely, factually aware of is easier to condemn because its only a video game while absolutely judging it as real life. Gotcha.

Geekrock84

Sure

This whole sub circle jerking to Joel being the bad guy is the real psychosis. Even the supposed PhD person - oh. Its a video game so we wond treat it like reL life but we'll emotionally treat it like real life. Syck my tits, you fucks. It isnt about Joel but the actions that let his choices. Fucking dumb.

Geekrock84

Lmao, Jerry spent a maximum of one person's lunch break to not only determine that Ellie was immune but to also determine that a lethal procedure was the only way to create a vaccine. That is not how science or medicine works. The whole idea of jumping to potentially killing an immune person within hours of "testing" is asinine. You get one chance and there better be a whole lot more testing, blood work, imaging and trial periods before you throw all your eggs in one basket and hope to god that it works.

Good fucking thing you're not a doctor or in science and research.

Geekrock84

Everyone is stable and comfortable. Its actually breaking my heart even more to know that the new babies were suffering so much before we got them.

Geekrock84

Your ferret didn't get Insulinoma from having a few licks of sweets once in a while. In the US, its largely due to the fact that the largest and only commercial ferret supplier, Marshall's, has absolutely diabolical breeding practices and standards as far as their ferrets are concerned and they get away with it because the majority of people here, give two shits about animal wellfair. Could you have done more to combat the insulinoma? I dont know. Thats between you and your conscience but...

  • you learned, you cared, you aimed to do better and now you are and that is the type of shit that we need more of when it comes to animals! They arent just some THING that we get to use as props or status symbols or for comfort only when we need it - they're living beings!
Geekrock84

Thank you. And I do take comfort that all my babies were treated like my children because to me, they were. They only knew love and care and happiness and joy and I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to share my life with them.

Geekrock84

Im so sorry for your loss. This shit is devastating.

Geekrock84

Sorry for your loss as well. It helps to remember how spoiled and loved they were and how we gave them the safety and care to allow them to be individuals, not just a ferret.

I hope they're on the other side causing chaos together. And when the time comes, we'll meet them again on the other side of the stars.

Your art teacher is a piece of shit who obviously has issues with the LGBTQ community or feminine males

Based on what is circled and his comments, he's also extremely nitpicky at finer details during timed drawings, which just doesn't make sense. Timed drawings are for when you are basically trying to get the sense of proportions, structure and shapes - theyre not supposed to be perfect.

Also, tell him, your knees point at the direction of the foot unless theyre twisted at the knee. Your knee placement and direction is perfectly fine in conjunction with your thigh, calf and foot placement in that, again, QUICK/TIMED sketch. Your biceps seem similar in size as well and fall off normally, not everyone has a muscle bulge there.

Message me, I can help.

Geekrock84

But... she is against it and she didnt tell him when she knew he was buying parts to build one.

Geekrock84

She sounds irrational and like a control freak. Her using a divorce as a means to get her way also shows manipulative behavior.

Is she super religious or anything? Does she have her own hobbies?

Honestly, I can think of a few ways you can approach the subject with her based upon a few needed details. It might save your computers life and have it be something you can enjoy, freely.

Geekrock84

Doing the same thing today except Im using my leaf blower/mulcher, blowing them into the yard and then will pass over with the lawn mower.
