Speaking up to this kind of people only gives you a 'mhux affarik' in the best of cases, a 'foxx ommok' being orders of magnitude more likely. Unless of course you wear a police uniform (and in a recent case in Valletta, even if you do). These are Neanderthal hamalli who don't care about the rest of humanity in the slightest.

Ah well. My ancestors' bones are not in my country of citizenship either. I actually moved as an adult. However, I've been here for years and years, I speak the languages (Both of 'em), I work locally and there's no telling me apart from someone born and bred here if not for the funny accent. Identity is a complicated thing, it's not just about your passport and not just about bones in the ground. Since we are on the subject of Irishness, De Valera was born in New York and his father was Spanish. He wasn't executed by the Brits because he was an American citizen. Yes his mother was Irish so there were some bones in the ground but all in all, and I'd like to have seen him speaking as Gaeilge. Lol

The US are not surrounded on all sides by enemies hell bent on destroying their way of life. Had it been the case, you'd see racial profiling there to. It's all well and good to be progressive but all it takes is one rogue element to create a disaster. And since the perps of such crimes are of a certain ethnic background, if you want to go to Israel and happen to share traits with the arc-emenies of Israel then it sucks to be you. Full disclosure: it happened to me too. Yes it's an inconvenience but better than a potential killer on board.

If you want I can show you my page full of Abu Dhabi stamps next to my Israeli visa. And that was before the Abraham Accords.
If the United ARAB Emirates are not Arab enough, I have other stamps from Muslim countries as well.

Nothing to do with the Colombian saying. I'm from Malta and Papaya is a provider of e-money (sort of Revolut). It's a debit card with an Iban and Not what any legitimate business would ever use. Do not wire any money and please notify Papaya about that as they're a legitimate service

I take the Britalian designation as a point of pride but, despite my obvious links to the green and pleasant land, I'm actually Maltese-Italian. Which comes in handy when dealing with the standard way the average Maltese counters any obviously in-your-face fuckeduppery detected by anyone with a minimum of common sense: 'go back to your country'.

You have no idea how hard Maltese couriers have been f'ed with the mass arrivals of dirt cheap imported labour. As a biker myself, I'd gladly do some deliveries as a second job but when the benchmark is dodgy companies (the biggest of which operated by TCN) setting wages based on poor souls sleeping 9 apiece in a 2 bedroom, they made the barrier to entry for Maltese couriers so ridicolously high it's a non sequitur.
