At the start, he basically just saw them as kids throwing a temper tantrum. He saw himself as the adult, since he was an adult before, and thus should not be insulted by children. Plus there is also still a part of him, at the start, that still hasn't fully accepted the reality of him being inside a novel. So he really doesn't care that much. But that will change, as he grows.

My general rule with this novel is that first 80 chapters are not the best, but after that, its starts improving. Give it until the end of the 1st volume, to decided if you don't like it.

Also don't worry, Ren is the pettiest mc, I have ever read of. He will not let go of even single insult.

I wanted them to go through hell and face the consequences of their actions. But I get why they didn't. The whole point of their ending is to show Arthur's humanity. He didn't want to become a monster just like them. I just hope after the Arthur gets his happy ending, it shows a timeskip of thousands of years and its just Nico and Cecilia finally getting punished by fate.

Ren was responsible for everything. The black box that he sent back in time was what allowed Jezebeth to become so powerful.

Ren was always meant to be the Overseer of the Records. But in order to become, he need Jezebeth to exist. Which is why in the universe where Jezebeth, and Kevin didn't exist, ren didn't either.

It ain't plot armor. There is a reason why Everblood was able to find the book. It will be revealed in a few hundred chapters. Let's just say that Everblood hasthe help of someone extremely powerful.

The ending was good, but the author wanted to add another 200 chapters and few more arcs to explore the world and power system, but couldn't.

The Records can no longer rewind time. The reason why the OG Ren, who was only person capable of defeating DK, fought against DK was because he wanted to die. But regression no longer happening, he has no reason to fight him, as he can finally die. DK knows this and doesn't view the current Ren as threat, so he didn't bother killing him.

He also planned on making Ren kill Kevin as if he did, DK can claim Kevin's power faster.

So basically, he just didn't see Ren as threat, since OG Ren is suicidal.
