Completely agree with all of this. I played 6 aside at a local pitch in a fairly competitive league in the Liverpool area. There were two teams made up of ex-Liverpool players plus their friends and sons who were comfortably in their late 50s at the time. These were league and European winners but pretty old and heavier guys now. The big difference for me was there mental awareness, always ahead of the game, knew where the next ball was being played before you could even consider getting close. Sometimes even looking disinterested in the phase of play then popping up in space seconds later. What these guys were like in their prime would have been outrageous.

Is this just the H2H league or is there a standard league as well?
