This is why I love Sacrifice edicts. No game changers necessary.

The fandom already has that covered (affectionate)

It's also not very believable that they'd act like this. I could see it if they were like, college aged to mid-20s. As written, they don't seem to act their age.

Is it possible all the cruises and shipping lanes going in and out of Ft Lauderdale/Miami raised concerns of it getting stuck by something?

I've been saying since the amnesia arc started that using her Aura to see Okarun's past is the most poetic way you could restore her memories, but the added layer of reprising her rebuke of Hase from Chapter 1 would elevate it to an insane degree.

I was really worried that Hase would somehow be "redeemed" and added to the party when it was revealed he gained powers of his own, but if this theory ends up correct, it'll be clearer than ever that his role is to be Okarun's complete foil and not just a mere enemies-to-allies trope.

I looked it up later that day, apparently it's just historic folklore that a naval officer shot himself rather than deal with the pain, hence the colloquial name "suicide plant" (search Google for Cyril Bromley Gympie Gympie for the unverified origins of this anecdote in Australian Geographic)

But there are reports that some of the trichomes can stay embedded in the skin and release toxins years after you've touched the plant, and some scientists developed respiratory irritation just from working around the plants without proper PPE

It's more of a low grab since it whiffs on crouch. Her hooligan mixups are more of a gimmick than anything.

Thanks for the updated context. The original article as posted says the police hadn't released a statement yet.

Competitive league for kids under 6 or a competitive league in general? I don't live in WP anymore but I googled it and all the results for competitive leagues would be pitting him against 8 year olds. That's the whole problem.

You and /u/GhettoDuk keep going on about a competitive league more his speed as if there's plenty of peewee soccer leagues fielding 3 year old prodigies for him to play with. The reality is it's either this league or the next league up that fields kids as old as 10, which wouldn't be fair to him. Just say you think it's only right for Tall Poppy Syndrome to punish this kid for being too good for his age so we can all move on with our day.

Article says they didn't get a refund until after being tresspassed. Its understandable the parents wouldn't be okay being pushed out of a league that they paid to participate in simply because the kid is too good. Theres no reason for this to have escalated beyond a civil matter other than the other parents being Karens.

Let the match finish, then issue the refund, then tell them not to come back. It's not hard.

He's already playing in a league with kids nearly twice his age. What do you want them to do, keep bumping him up until he's playing with kids over twice his age?

I mean, fair play to the kid, but I still don't see how any of that constitutes escalation to criminal tresspass because the kid is a prodigy. Clickbait or not, headline is accurate if that's what it ultimately boils down to.

Oh well, I'm sure this will make for a great cold open to a Biopic in 40 years if this kid turns out to be the next Messi.

I just picked this series up because of the latest chapter and it's funny that the author basically said "good question, let me show you"

Huh, what an odd title, I wonder what it's about

Over 2/3rds of the panels are just meticulously drawn portraits of a girl interacting with her hair

I'm not sure why I'm surprised. I got exactly what it said on the tin.

People when riots and protests cause property damage and economic harm: Not like that!

People when peaceful protests amount to a bunch of people standing on the side of the road, barely an inconvenience: Lol good luck getting anyone in power to care 🫵🤣

Also people: why does everything suck? Why can't we change or fix anything??

Repeat until heat death of the universe

Edit: replying to my comment then blocking me before I can even read it let alone reply tells me all I need to know about how bitchmade you are 😂

Touch grass dummy

It's not that it didn't make sense (it did, for the reasons you pointed out) - it's just that it was so brief and smooth that it wasn't all that satisfying. In my head at least, the minimum amount of effort would be something like, Prue goes in and demands he resign, he refuses and pushes her out the door and there's just an entire army of unhappy citizens with torches and pitchforks downstairs, including some of his own subordinates. Idk.

Oh damn, I knew I recognized her name from somewhere but couldn't remember where. This is that plant that makes you feel like there's glass shards embedded in your skin for the rest of your life, isn't it? Reportedly the chronic pain was so bad, someone committed suicide rather than live with it.

I thought all the Bible references on the new album were ironic shitposting like the songs themselves. You mean to tell me none of this was ironic at all?? 😭

If this whole thing isn't a setup for Millie's life being threatened so Hemlock can understand what it means to fight for the sake of others, what are we even doing here lol

Yeah, I assumed the gloves were just natural for all garden members, but now I'm thinking she's got a Rogue situation going on where she literally can't make skin contact with other people.

It would be nice, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. We thought we were jumping in when the Authens were introduced as the Forger's neighbors, only for that to be put on hold. I suspect Yor will get a slight clue but not enough to see the whole picture, and it's going to be filed away for later as usual.

I'm starting to think he has a type, and it's based

Sort by controversial and you'll find them. It was probably one of those things where getting to the thread too early meant the shitty comments hadn't naturally sunk to the bottom yet.

Didn't even think about this but I love the theory. "Fuck it, if I'm gonna constantly get in trouble for something I don't do, I might as well start doing it."
